Carrollton, GeorgiaI received a collection letter from Capital Management Services for a debt from another collection agency. Their client, Calvery Portfolio Services had this account for over four years and they never sent me a collection letter. Their client has charged $1,302.71 interest on a $1,583.00 debt. I checked at Bankrate.com and the statue on collection on a credit card debt is four years in Georgia. So I feel that since it has been four years this debt should be deleted from their records and there should be no further collection efforts now and in the future.
