I used my debit card at a payphone at the Denver International Airport to call home and let my husband now that me plane was going to be late. I called home four times as the plane became later and later, to inform him. Five days later I recieve four transactions on my statement, totaling $43.31 for 8 minutes.
The phone company that was advertised on the pay phone was Faircall. This was NOT a faircall by any means. I contacted 1-800-collect out of curiosity, and had my home been able to accept collect calls, mytotal would have been around $10.30. Save yourself from unexpected blows and DO NOT use this service.
