Roosevelt, WashingtonTop Agent Toolbox sells a real estate service over the internet. After ordering the service over the phone from a salesman I went to the site and they just wanted to sell me more expensive advertising. I called the salesperson back 12 hours later and cancelled the service and cancelled by email, as well.
He said they's never had anyone cancel that quickly?
They still charged my credit card $199 so when I received the statement I called the contact number and asked them to take the charge back. A Crystal Cordova said she would take my information and ask her boss. She called back to say they wouldn't charge me to buy back the contract or buy out the 12 month deal but wouldn't take back the $199 charge.
I also sent a letter and copies of all correspondence to my credit card company and refused to pay the charge. I have yet to hear back from them.
