On Feb 27, 2008 I signed an agreement for Platinum Pools of Oklahoma to build a pool in my back yard. The expectation was the pool would be complete by mid May, weather permittting.

It is now almost August. The pool is 3/4 complete. The builder is not showing up and not responding to my phone calls. My yard is a mess. The sprinkler system can not be used because the builder tore out part of the system (expected) and due to the delays on finishing the piping and landscape work, I have not been able to schedule the sprinkler system repairs.

My fence is torn up for entry into my yard (again expected) which creates issues with the dogs being left alone in the yard. The pool collects rain water and with the dirt run off creates a big mud puddle for the dogs to play in. The water has become stagnent and the smell prevents any opportunity to spend time on the patio. I have been paying the agreed amounts immediately upon completing the work - with only the last payment left to be paid upon completion. The builder returned my calls twice with off the wall excuses on why he had not shown up and promises to show up on stated dates - but never shows.
