Manhattan Beach, CaliforniaDirect TV is a business that does not live up to its word. There business practices from dealing with their customers to shady installation forms tricking you into a contract are completely unacceptable.
I purchased the Direct TV service with the understanding that I have a trial periods to decide if I want the service or not. I have nothing but problems from the start. First off they hooked me up with the wrong service plan TV package, which in turn made me bill some outlandish price, charging me over the ammount we agreed to. I am now looking to get out of this Direct TV service, I have talked to customer service practically every weekend about but this problem and the company now wants to charge me $360 for a cancellation fee.
This is totally unacceptable as a company. And I would like something done about this, to fix my problem and to expose shady business practices of this company.
There was a time when businesses catered to its customers and was fair.
Where have those times gone.
