Huntington, New YorkNational Safety Council marketed their online defensive driving course on the website by claiming it saves your insurance money. Guess what, most insurance companies do not take it. When I called them ask for a refund, the rep pointed to the small prints on their website which ask you to call the insurance companies to verify. When I pressed her to give me a list of company who takes it, she refused and said that it will require her to call all insurance company. Also in the small print, they tell you that DMV never proved this online course but
all the large print try to convince you that this is the same course as the classroom one. Big scam in my opinion. Such a shame for them.
