vancouver, WashingtonWe were bank of america when my purse was stollen. In the purse was my visa check card. There hundreds of dollars charged on it within a few short hours. I called boa and reported it stollen. The money was creditted back to my account.
A month later I got a letter saying they decided the charges were authorized and were taking the money back. How could I authorize charges on a card that was stolen? So much for fraud and identity theft protection!
When I called them, they said it would be fixed. uess what? It wasn't? I pulled all our money out quickly, so they could not steal ti from us. It was all we had. So, now they have turned us into a collection agency for money that was stollen. Yea, they're a keeper. *rolling my eyes*
