Wells Fargo paid a tax bill on a tract of land they did not own, nor have any claim to.  I had made arrangements with the county auditor's office to pay the taxes that were in arrears.  The county auditor's office is just as inept as Well Fargo Home Mortgage.  The auditor's office said I should call Wells Fargo, I thought I was being compliant, but as it happened I was making the biggest mistake of my life.  My Mortgage Payments doubled.  At no time did I ask Wells Fargo to pay the taxes nor did I give them permission to do so.  So now here I am waiting to hear from Wells Fargo to let me know if my Loan Modification has gone through.  This has to be some horrible joke because Wells Fargo created the problem and now they are treating us like dead-beat criminals, and Wells Fargo is acting like they are doing us a big favor.

Wells Fargo has used every manor of lies to drag their feet on our loan modification.  They either have trouble reading or are being intentionally obtuse.   I sent them copies of my pension package and they called to inquire how long I would be receiving the pension, when it clearly states that I will forfeit my pension at death and my spouse will get 50% of my pension until she forfeits at death.  What part of Death do they not understand?  I have been to my bank to get all my banking records for the past three months.  It seems they cannot understand the concept of pension calulation and taxation of pension even when it is spelled out clearly in fron of them.

This whole thing has been very stressful for me and my wife.  We are elderly, and this mess Wells Fargo created has taken it's toll on us.
