Technology Kitchen Theft By Deception Austin Texas

Our medical device design firm suggested we use Technology Kitchen in Austin to do our electrical design. We took their suggestion.

In a career of 38 years in business I can only think of one company that was so morally mis guided, so egregious, decptive and dishonest.

We recieved a bill that was light years beyond what we agreed to.  

We contacted several partners in the company, Keith Odland, Brad Claflin, and John Harlan and demanded that they cease and desist of any further work on our project due to the aggregious over billing.

We demanded a face to face meeting.

We caught them over charging us more than we contractualy agreed to and the project manager Jon Giffen admitted their conduct to me face to face.

They were over charging us without a sign off, or approval.

In a few days we met face to face and these corrupt individuals said that they told us in the bottom of an email.  

There was no sign off from us whatsoever or agreement to upcharge us, not even a phone call.

Then during the face to face meeting they agreed that moving forward there would be better communication and they would never do it again they adjusted the bill and we promptly wrote them the check with the understanding that our Chief Scientific Officer would get all of their work product that we paid for.

They gave us nothing.  Zippo!

They conspired to keep not only the work product from us but they denied our request for a bill of materials (BOM).

By denying us the BOM this prevented us from getting an RFQ (request for quote).  

This conspired action has caused us immense damages and delays.

But the story gets even more heinous. 

They took it upon themselves, (we have this in writing from partner Brad Caulfin and we'll share this with the media) that they took it upon themselves to do another $79,000 worth of work without a signed purchase order or any approval from us whatsoever.

Our CFO is a seasoned professional and he said, "Ive never seen anything like this."  

He's also an arbitrator and suggest we pursue treble damages.

In addition, when we retained them their contract read that they own our intellectual property which is patented if we don't pay them.

We are working with four of the most notable scientists in the world in the field of Photobiology.  They are all alumni and a couple Professors at the two most presitigious universities in Boston and arguably the world.  

Further, we are also working in conjunction with the most notable U.S. name in healthcare; changing the lives of cancer patients, diabetics and those with auto immune disorders including Shingles, RLS and HIV.

We are about to begin optional clinical studies to prove which we have proven non clinically, that we can treat all the side effects of chemotherapy using both visible and non visible light using a very specific, complex code that cost millions to develop and patent.  

We've already successfully completed a clinical safety test at the same institution.

We are pursing a settlement because no one wins in a legal war and in our case every day we delay in getting to maket people die or suffer that wouldn't with our technology.

My company is like my child and these unethical individuals are in my opinion the worst type of business people you can encounter based on their actions, behavior and abscence of a moral compass.

We've been interviewed on ABC and invited to appear on Good Morning America. ABC doesn't do stories without extensive vetting. We've been vetted. 

We trusted our design firm to pick someone ethical and we shouldn't have.

We want to settle, check our work product and move on because these people are broken ethically and morally.  

We are going to the Texas Attorney General to report THEFT BY DECEPTION and then to the Better Business Bureau and next week is media week on TV.

When you can potentially save the lives of millions of cancer patients globally and someone tries to rob your technology you fight.
