I was refered to Mike McNair on an internet forum where he was offering various repair services (cars, watches, home, ...). He had good feedbacks so I said why not.
I sent him a watch for a simple fix. After 11 months of excuses a parcel finally came back to me. It wasn't the watch I sent him, it was a beaten up piece of junk, not the $1000 watch I sent him.
He kept my money and my watch, and now he is not answering my emails or calls anymore.
I know that he is still taking work, and I know he scammed some other people on car fixes/improvements and home repairs.
I went to his old house and tried confronting him. He told me he has some alcohol abuse issues and that it would make it up to me. That was almost a year ago.
Anything coming out of this guy's mouth can't be trusted, he is a fraud.
