I went to Dr. Mark A.F. Knight for a few procedures. He got me to sign quickly (first mistake). For personal reasons I had to cancel the procedure. I should have received all my money back (because I canceled on time), but I would have understood if he wanted to keep a deposit.

Instead the office manager/wife gave me the run around. I never received ONE CENT back of my thousands of dollars. I lost it ALL to these thieves.

Don't trust the "doctor" Mark Knight, or his business Eternal Youth Med Spa. Even though I lost more money than I've ever had before, I shutter to think what would have happened if there was a problem with the procedure. I wouldn't trust that you will get any help or resolution, let alone your money back. I wouldn't trust his business practice period, it's not worth it.

The facts are such:

I was not refunded ANY of my money. I was given the run-around month after month, with no money given to me. Finally, my calls were no longer taken. And yes, I could have taken it to court, but I couldn't afford a lawyer at the time, nor had the time to do so, and it's irrelevant. I shouldn't have to take a business to court in order to get my 8k (minus deposit) back, after canceling! Essentially my money was taken, with no services given, and that is the basis of my discontent.  So I guess, if you don't mind having to take this guy to court when you cancel, then by all means, use his services.

It is the standard policy of this, and most surgical practices, to retain an administrative fee for all cancelled procedures that are not rescheduled.  In order to reserve a date for surgery, the Nurse, the Anesthesiologist, and the Surgical Tech, in addition to the surgeon, are all coordinated and in agreement to forgo other income opportunities to be present for the case.  When patients cancel cases, for whatever reason, it impacts all the aforementioned individuals.  They could have easily scheduled themselves to be somewhere else.  In my practice, this cancellation fee is $500 is is CLEARLY defined and described in the financial contracts that every patient signs.  If a patient cancels a procedure, they are refunded their money minus this sum.

If the patient was NOT refunded their money minus the retained cancellation fee, I GUARANTEE you that the Patient would have willingly (and justifiably) had their day in court seeking compensation for GRAND THEFT, CONVERSION, and CRIMINAL prosecution.  AS NO SUCH ACTIONS ENSUED, I can GUARANTEE you that this patient was refunded their money, minus the cancellation fee, and this is the basis of their discontent.

TO post an item stating that this business stole "Thousands of dollars" and that this person lost "more money than i've ever had before" is both vauge and untrue.

First, everyone who pays in advance for ANY surgery is given a bill of statement and a receipt.  There is no mystery about how much was paid, or for what.

Second..."For a Few procedures" is again quite odd and vauge.

Per HIPAA regulations, I cannot discuss specific details.  However, it would stand to reason that if someone had been robbed of a specific sum of money paid for a specific procedure, they should at least be able to state the procedure, name the amount, and prove they were indeed defrauded.

This report is fraught with vauge allegations and misrepresentations as to facts, none of which are presented here.
