American National Agent opportunity is a huge bunch of lies and a scam. Agents are recruited to this shitty company and told this is a great opportunity to open a multiple lines agency. Then you find out you have to completely supply all of your office equipment and pay all overhead out of your own pocket.

American National does no advertising and no one knows who the hell they are. They want you to build an agency with a virtually unknown name by word of mouth. Then you find out their products are way overpriced and inferior to competitors.

I struggled to pay the bills for a year and a half with this waste of time company and every time my customers renewed on their auto or home insurance they had MAJOR rate increases causing many to leave. This makes it almost impossible to build a business with these crooks.

Then they require you to sell $2000 a month in life insurance and their life products are also overpriced and inferior. Many agents sell their Universal Life product as whole life and underprice it so it works like  high priced term. A totally unethical thing to do and ANICO encourages it.

In closing anyone looking for a multiple lines agency opportunity needs to run as fast as you can away from ANPAC. I worked in Kentucky and the state general Agent an my assistant general agent were both complete idiots sold on this rip-off company. Again my advice is to stay as far away as possible from ANPAC. They wil let you make them some money then continually scew you over.
