On Jan 2nd, when they had their supersale, I participated. And commented Sold with my email address and that it would be Mon before I could send them payment via PayPal on two objects, the wine bottle incense holder with the dragon on it and the cat’s eye tarot deck. I received the invoice on Jan 3. I sent the payment on Jan 6. On Jan 9, I messaged them via Facebook asking when I should be watching for my package and how it was being shipped, individually or together and what service was being used for shipping.

I was wondering when I should start watching for my items. Are they being shipped separate or in same package? And is it coming USPS or UPS or fedex? I paid on Monday. the email addy I used on the posts was {Blocked for Privacy}

Having not heard from them by the 13th, I used the email addy that was listed with my Paypal invoice at first and sent the following:

Hi, my name on FB is Minxey Justy and I was wondering when I should be expecting my order to arrive since I paid for it a week ago. I'm including a paste of the PayPal invoice showing the date and time payment was accepted. My roommate is deaf and wouldn't hear anyone knocking on the door if the package is too big for the mailbox so I want to make sure I don't miss it because I usually sleep during the day since I work third shift 4 nights a week.

As you can see of the invoice, at the top it lists umbralightmetaphysics@yahoo.com as the address to send email to. At the bottom it says umbralightcustomerservice@yahoo.com is the address to send email to. So when I hadn’t heard from them by the 15th, I went to their facebook page and realized that I had apparently emailed the wrong address. So I forwarded the message I’d sent on the 13th with the following:

Apparently I sent this to the wrong email address. But it was the address that was on the invoice for me to contact with questions.

 

On the 16th, I finally heard from them via Facebook…

your package should be arriving within 7-10 business days. we ship via usps and it will all be in one package.

Now… Jan 16th was a Thursday. Postal runs here on Saturdays. So if I count, including Saturdays, it should’ve arrived somewhere between January 24 – 28. If I count not including Saturdays (which as I understand it is how most businesses count when they say 7-10 business days meaning they count only Monday-Friday), it should’ve arrived somewhere between January 27 – 30. Yes, I work third shift. My hours are 9 pm to 7 am. And due to needing to wind down from work, I tend to be awake still or just going to bed when the mail runs here. I even accepted a package that was addressed to my roommate who is deaf and wouldn’t have heard the knocking at the door. There was never a package delivered to me with my name on it from Umbralight Metaphysics. So I started messaging them on Facebook. I even called them and I’m willing to take a screenshot of that call info if Paypal or anyone else asks for the proof. Here’s the messages I sent with no replies from them at all:

Please contact me. It's been 7-10 business days this morning and my package has not arrived. My email is {blocked for privacy}, my # is {blocked for privacy}. My Paypal invoice # is 1986. Thank you.

If I don't hear from you by Wednesday, I'm going to have to contact PayPal in regards to getting refunded.

well it is not far from being wednesday and by the time i wake up since i worked last night, it will be wednesday. I have started proceedings through Paypal to be refunded.

On Feb 4th, I went looking at their posts because I saw they were active via my newsfeed and that I hadn’t gotten any response from the message I had last sent them. That’s when I saw a few comments from various people about how they’d been waiting for their packages after payment and never received them and couldn’t get anyone to respond to their messages etc. The same thing I was going through. I didn’t think to screenshot those posts and I wish now that I had. Because I had replied to one person’s and mentioned that I was experiencing the same thing. When I went back a couple hours later to check to see if they had replied to my reply, I discovered they had all been removed. That is when I made the following comment and took a screenshot because I realized what they were doing.

Wow...all the comments from those of us that didn't receive our packages that we paid for and can't get any of this page's admins to answer us have been removed instead of being replied to with a proper answer along the lines of "we do apologize for any inconvenience. we'll be messaging you shortly to resolve these issues" or some such... I think this action by the admin has just caused me to go ahead and escalate my pending resolution process to REFUND ME ASAP... You are a VERY shady page. I'll also be reporting you to Facebook. {posted at 1:30 PM CST on Feb 4th.}

The original screenshot was taken at 1:30 PM CST on February 4. After having slept, when I woke up and went to look, I have discovered that while their page is still liked and I’m following it, I can no longer comment on their posts nor can I like anything nor can I message them anymore.
