We needed to supliment our income, so my wife agreed to start part time work for this company.  Upon the first day of training she realized this was a business run out of someones home and only had two or three maids.  The owner, Ed Kitzis, provided her with training and then proceeded to assign her work as explained.  The arrangement was agreed upon and my wife began cleaning as needed and received payment for her work as expected.

The problem arose when an altercation took place between the owner's son and myself.  Naturally, the father is going to take the side of the son.  The problem, however, is when Mr. Kitzis could no longer maintain a professional demeanor with my wife and became belligerent toward her.  I advised my wife that it appears to be a conflict of interest and to just let Mr. Kitzis know that you would be terminating the relationship.  My wife was still expecting a final paycheck from Tip Top Maids upon her termination of employment with them.  

We waited patiently for several weeks for the check to be mailed to no avail.  When I called to speak with Mr. Kitzis he abruptly stated that "there was no conversation" and hung up on me.  I called back several times and after several failed attempts, he finally did answer again.  I asked him if it was professional to hang up on people and he responded with "don't tell me about being professional".  I advised him I was calling about my wife's final check and he stated that "there was no check, she is in breach of contract" and hung up on me again.  

Let it be known that my wife never signed a contract with Mr. Kitzis in regards to not being paid if she quit, only a non compete form.  What Mr. Ed Kitzis has done is only show the integrity of his moral character and of Tip Top Maid Services Jacksonville, FL.  Mr. Kitzis still legally owes my wife a final paycheck of $80.00 per their agreement.

A quick internet search of "Tip top maid services Jacksonville complaints" reveals that Mr. Ed Kitzis has responded in the same manner with customers as well.  In some cases, even worse.  Tip Top Maid Services Jacksonville also has a D- rating with the Better Business Bureau.  His reputation proceeds him in his business.
