Oh let’s start off with the legal so this horrible company who like to threaten with legal. These are my expressed opinions. What you choose to believe after reading is up to you.
I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with these people and this company. They are the most disorganized lying band of misfits i have dealt with lately. I bought almost 5,000 worth of auctions from these people and went to pick them up in 24 hours then I was told they wouldn’t be released to my company because storagebattles.com didn’t follow up with some paper work. This cost me a lot of money to send 8 guys and 4 trucks over an hour away. When I contacted storage battles it took these people over a day over 24 hours to contact me back and that’s only after I left a voicemail sent a previous email then send another demanding someone contact me.
The contacted me via email which is ridiculous you would think that they would have the decency to contact me because I’m valued ad a customer. NOPE NOT THIS GROUP. They were however quick to charge my credit card for over 500 worth of charges for units which I didn’t get. I mean really this is fraud what are you thinking. I then contacted these people who someone get it worked out that I can go pick up these units. Oh and they give me 2 extra days. Wow G thanks 2 extra days what about the thousand dollars I lost.
So anyhow one of the units was not given to us. After a week these idiots finally give me that buyer’s premium back. Then two days after refining it they go back and charge me again I mean really how special do you have to be to think I won’t notice that. I contacted this band of inferior intellect once again they send 2 email excuses about how they changed processors and so and will fix the problem. These people never fixed the problem. Oh that’s the second fraud. So I went to the FBI website and filed a online fraud complaint. I also am filing a fraud charge against every charge from this company. IN MY OPINION I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Contradicting story from storage facility on this transaction
AUTHOR: Storagebattles.com Team - ()
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, November 06, 2013
Dear Potential Customer:
Please consider this my rebuttal to the single negative report brought against my company by a disgruntled customer. To set the record straight, StorageBattles.com is an on-line auction site which connects bidders to independent self-storage facilities which are placing defaulted storage units up for auction.
StorageBattles.com, much like a live auctioneer, simply runs the bidding process, and has no control over the goods being auctioned. Storage unit auctions are governed by individual state laws and the actual posting and delivery of the units is governed by the individual self-storage facilities.
This disgruntled customer apparently had some issues in picking up his units, which the self-storage facility denies. He ultimately obtained all of his units except for one, which was legally redeemed by the owner under Virginia law, for which unit the customer received a refund of his auction bid. Upon receiving the initial complaint, StorageBattles.com contacted the self-storage facility, to sort out the contradicting stories and to ensure that the customer received those units he could legally take possession of, and was refunded on the one unit he could not.
While StorageBattles.com is sorry that the customer had a delay in picking up his merchandise (the self-storage facility claims there was no delay or issues) this was between the bidder and the seller, not StorageBattles.com. StorageBattles.com has hosted over 20,000 on-line auctions to the complete satisfaction of over 99% of its customers.
Sincerely,
James Grant, CEO
