Dr. Ron Devine who claims to be an orthopedic specialist is someone who the world should know about. I visited Dr. Devine twice for treatment for a long standing back complaint.
The first time I visited him was for a consultation and although he didn't strike me as a warmest person, he is the closest orthopedic doctor to my house plus his rates were reasonable. However the 2nd time I visited him I quickly realised why he charges much less than other people have subsquently found. He displayed an aggressive manner towards me and was quite impolite on numerous occasions as the session progressed.
In fact, it reached a point where I felt very comfortable. I told him so and asked to conclude the session. We were barely half way through but depite this Ron Devine insisted on charging me the full amount - $55 plus a cancellation fee for cancelling early! I refused and left. Since then Dr. Devine has been hounding me for payment even going so far as to drive to my house in his dirty old racing car and demand I had over cash to him immediately otherwise he will bring a claim against me in small claims court. For the past 3 weeks his has been harassing me both at home and outside of my work. I would go as far as to call it stalking and and currently in the process of getting a restraining order against him.
Thank goodness for this site for others can be warned about this man. He is danger, aggressive, intimiating and tries to extort people for money. Put him on your avoid list.

I feel the need to correct and address accusations levied at me in the posting above.
I was happy to pay Dr. Ron Devine for the first session I had with him. We completed the session and so was happy to pay.
However, I don't agree with him trying to charge me a cancellation fee for asking to terminiate the 2nd session early. Whoever heard of someone charging to end a session early? This is incredibly exploitative and nowhere in Dr. Ron Devine's terms and conditions of service does it say anything about premature session cancellation charges.
I would have been happy to paid a pro rated amount just to have this situation over and done and this guy out of my life. But he wouldn't accept it. Only the full amount plus $55 cancellation charge. Give me a break.
Moreover, I disagree with your assertion that EVERY doctor has a God Complex. This does not and should not come with the job. My brother is doctor, I have friends who are doctors. They are not manipulative, exploitative individuals. They don't treat they patients aggressively and try and milk them for cash.
I am not worried about a lawsuit. I have catalogued Ron Devine's behavior towards me very carefully uncluding his unannounced visits to my house which have been very scary. If he wants to escalate things to a legal platform I was very much encourage him to do so. This way I would get my day in court and then could tell even more people the type of person Ron Devine is.

So because YOU are a deadbeat and dont pay your bills, HE is a ripoff? HOW does that work EXACTLY? YOU CHOSE to not pay what YOU owe!!!! YOU are ripping HIM off!!! The you have the NERVE to go on the web and defame this person due to the FACT that he wants to get paid. Firstly, EVERY doctor has some form of god complex. It comes with the job. Secondly, YOU OWE HIM MONEY!!!! He had every right to charge YOU a cancellation fee. But YOU seem to think that YOU dont have to pay based SOLELY on YOUR OPINION!!!! There are two groups you dont go on the web and defame. Lawyers and DOCTORS!!!!BOTH have better lawyers then YOU!!!!What YOU have done is actionable and that doctor would be well within his rights to sue YOU for defamation. I wouldnt worry about small claims court I would worry about a lawsuit that starts at 25,000.
