At 5' 08" 170 lbs Brown Eyes and Brown Hair, This 46 year old "Private Investigator" (DOB: 08/04/1964)  Still Holds his PI License in CA (PI 21043) and Should NOT BE TRUSTED WITH SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION OR PERSONAL FINANCES. RJ, as he refers to himself, is Currently out on FEDERAL BOND with a pending court case scheduled to start in MARCH 2010. The Charge?

CONSPIRACY TO DISTRIBUTE NARCOTICS // Complaint 21:846 Conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute cocaine. 

In the US District Court,  Middle District of Tampa Florida.

It seems that RJ is in a bit of a pickle, Faced with a Minimum of 10 YEARS in Federal Prison, he has taken to the internet in a feeble attempt to pull the shroud over the public eyes and paint himself as a "doer of good deeds"  trying to fall back on his 20+ years as a PI
(FYI his License was issued in 1999)  

If you have encountered this man, be cautious,  RJ is like the used car sales man who wont let you walk away from a lemon, smiling all the way to the bank. 

He will tell you to "Google his name" and try to impress you with a long detailed list of BS about his role in the Oklahoma City Bombing Investigation, his business to provide "personal security to Iraq dignitaries" or show you a bogus web sit for "Jerlow Iraq" or "Kids First" a bogus child visitation monitor business. 

He has Filed for Bankruptcy twice, in 1999 and again in 2006, you can check for yourself  on the website  mentioned above to confirm this claim.   

He is Extremely persistent and persuasive  as well as arrogantly confident. He has been evaluated as a Sociopath with Narcissistic personality traits.

I am a retired TX. State Trooper and have known Keith Clements for just  over 20 years. I am happy to share some interesting information about Keith.  I do not know Mr. Jerlow personally, but I do know people who know him. The friends I know that know Mr. Jerlow have nothing negative to say about him at all. In fact, 2 of the people that know him have were both co-workers of mine for over 10 years. They both worked for Mr. Jerlow and say he is an honest, hard working business man. They are both aware of this situation Keith Clements set him up in and they both stand by Mr. Jerlow.  If they say it, I have to believe them. They are both TX. Law Enforcement Officers and have absolutely no reason to lie about that. On the other hand, I cannot say the same for Keith Clements.  Keith has a terrible reputation in the TX. law enforcement community. All anyone has to do is contact some of his former departments and talk to their Chief  and you will find out the truth about this fool.  I know of at least one TX. person he tried to setup to do drug deals with his "columbian" friends.  I hope justice finds Keith and I hope someone returns the favor to him.  You can't go around setting innocent people up and expect karma to not come around.

I know both Keith Clements, Robert Jerlow and both of their families. I have known them for almost 20 years.  Keith and Robert were friends for as long as I have known them.  I know Keith is the person that posted this "anonymous" "for the people" warning regarding Robert. I am not posting here to be on either side, but to set the record straight regarding some of the statements made by Keith in the original posting.


The FACTS are: 

In the United States of America, everyone is innocent until proven guilty. It really does not take much to become involved in a Federal criminal case, or any case for that matter. The facts of a case will work themselves out in Court.

* Keith Clements IS an informant for the DEA and the United States.  This is a matter  of record.  Keith was paid $27,000.00 for entrapping his longtime friend. Keith was  promised more money if his friend was convicted.   Keith  moved to Columbia in  order to become an informant for the government. 

* Keith told Robert a Columbian drug lord took his passport and were threatening to  kill him  if Robert would not help them/him. This was via phone conversation and via  email.  This is a part of the Court record.

*Keith was constantly borrowing money from friends and family in the USA while      living in Columbia.

* Keith borrowed money many times from Robert while Keith was living in Columbia.

* Keith has been addicted to prescription pain pills since early 1990's when I first met  him.  

* Keith did demand his ex-wife sell her grave burial plot and give Keith the money. 

* Keith did steal his ex-daughter in laws social security and take out credit cards in  her name and did not pay them back.

* Keith did file a fraudulent insurance claim before moving to Columbia. He claimed  his Rolex watch was stolen/lost, when in fact he still had it.

* Keith did attempt to file a fraudulent insurance claim with the Veterans  Administration, and Social Security Administration, claiming he suffered from PTSD.  The fact is Keith was in the Air Force, but he never served in any combat zone or  hostile environment.

* Keith did work as a TX. Police Officer. Most of his "career" was working as a  volunteer or "reserve" non-paid position. Keith worked for 9 different TX. police  departments from 1981 until 1997.  He was fired from all of these jobs. 

* Keith claims he is a retired police officer, but he is not.  According to TCLEOSE, he  is not a retired police officer, nor is he getting any type of retirement/pension.  How  can you get a pension when you are a volunteer?

* The information Keith cited in this posting is not all provided by "Public Information"  the alleged alias information was actually obtained illegally from credit bureaus and  other proprietary private investigator databases. Robert has not used any aliases at  any time.

* Keith's ex-wife, ex-step son in law, ex-daughter in law have nothing good to say  about Keith. Both his ex-wife and ex-step son are extremely kind and wonderful  individuals. They have no dealings with Keith or his activities.

* Robert contacted DEA in Riverside CA. and had a meeting with DEA regarding his  concern for Keith's safety and situation.  A friend of Roberts who is a retired state  law enforcement officer set up this meeting with DEA and attended this meeting.

* DEA was not concerned with Keith's safety at all. They were only concerned with  catching the drug dealers, and they said as much. Roberts concerns about Keith's  safety fell on deaf ears at DEA.

* Robert is a licensed private investigator in multiple states. Robert has been a  licensed private investigator since 1987. Robert still holds private investigator  licenses in multiple states, and is still an actively working private investigator.

* Robert has spent over 22 years working as a licensed private investigator. He had a  very successful private investigation agency.  Robert was a good employer as well  as a good friend to many people.  

* Robert did conduct investigations on the Oklahoma City Bombing for many news,  newspapers and other media companies.

* Robert did own several other businesses including Jerlow-Iraq and other companies.  Robert was also a licensed Class III Federal Firearms dealer which he specifically  obtained for working in Iraq.

* Roberts step-son and ex-wife are warm and kind people. Jason is a licensed private  investigator and has been for many years.  Jason and Collete have nothing to do with  the situation between Keith and Robert. They are in no way involved with any of this,  and should be completely left out of it. This original posting is filled with nothing but  malicious, slanderous lies. This was nothing more then a pathetic attempt by Keith to  try to hurt Robert and his family.  Jason and Collete are truly innocent, kind, hard  working people. They have nothing to do with Robert, Keith, or the entire quagmire  that this situation between the two has turned into.

Keith and Robert were good friends for a long time. Robert even helped Keith build his first surveillance van, even though they were both working as contractors for the same insurance company. What happened to Keith to make him turn on Robert and entrap him into this terrible situation? What happened to Keith to make his life take such a bad turn and hurt everyone around him? He even turned on his then wife and stepson.  I know for a fact Keith attempted to entrap at least 2 other people I know within the last 2 years.

It is really easy to kick someone when they are down and try to hurt them and their family.  As I (and Keith) stated before "We are all INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY in a Court of Law".  Why can't people be adults and leave other people and their innocent families alone?  People need to stop being juvenile and immature and stop attacking with malicious lies. There are other people writing their opinions and comments regarding Robert. 

Any "anonymous" person can post ANYTHING about ANYBODY.  This includes lies, rumors, slanderous statements and other vial things that can hurt many people. The people who are the victims of these postings have no recourse. The only thing they can do is "rebut" these postings and try to defend their lives, integrity and reputation. All this because some idiot wanted to post slanderous, malicious lies, falsehoods and outright bullshit about someone! I feel this website should be held accountable for the damage these slanderous statements do to people, their families, businesses and their lives. 

I wish both Keith and Robert the best.
