  This site is phishing off my fame and reputation -- and probably exists to defame me. Since this is a matter of public reputation, I have no problem using my real name here, because their bogus use of it is the ripoff. My purpose in filing this report is to set the record straight. I do NOT own an escort service! When this site first appeared, they were using my entire name in their title: "Rabbi Yonassan Gershom -- Professional North London Escorts." This, to me, is proof that this site was set up to defame me personally. Besides, why else would an escort service use "rabbigershom.com" in the first place? It has nothing to do with the business! I became aware of this when I started getting inquiries about it, as well as bullying and libelous statements on other sites, accusing me of being immoral, a fake and/or "not a real rabbi" or whatnot. This bullying started about the same time that this site appeared. .I believe this might be part of an effort on the part of right-wing people in the Jewish community who are trying to discredit me due to my political stances on Israel, gay rights, animal welfare, and other issues, since some of the bullying comments on other sites have made reference to these issues in a derogatory way. (See my blog post on this bullying at: rooster613.blogspot.com/2014/01/oy-vey-im-being-cyber-bullied-by-idiots.html) I emailed the site through their contact link and demanded they remove my name from the title and the meta tags. After several emails from me and others, they did -- but the site still uses "rabbigershom.com" and this hyjacks searches for me, since there once was a site about me under that URL and old links to it still exist. (The legitimate site was taken down by me when I moved to writing on a blog.) Frankly, I question whether this business actually exists -- the only contact method is to go to their site and click on their contact link -- which sends a message to whomever runs the site, but there is no email address, no phone number, no physical address. According to "Whois" the URL owner is somebody named Luni Syverson in New Jersey -- although, when I first investigated this URL. the same owner listed their address as being in Russia. There does not seem to be any way to get them to take the site down or to stop using this URL, since "Gershom" is a common Jewish name and not copyrightable. But I am fighting back by letting everyone, on all my profiles everywhere, that "rabbigershom.com" is NOT ME! Please pass the word!
