This company stole my identifying contact information from CompuLife, a software company that provides me quoting software and internet leads. David Gordon, posing as a lead, sent me and other customers of CompuLife the email below.

David Gordon is a marketing manager for NAAIP, a company that provides insurance quoting software for free with the hope that the agent writes  business through their company.

To try to gain my business they sent me the false lead below with age and amount of insurance  David Gordon wants. Of course as an agent I would call the lead.. But the David Gordon lead is fake.  NAAIP's deceiving purpose in sending me this false email lead was to get me to call so they can pitch their services. In their email they try to instill fear in me that my information and thus my leads are not secure because of some security weakness at CompLife. They indeed know this weakness as they are company that hacked into the Compulife site.  David Gordon works forNathaniel Goldwasser, the President of NAAIP.

Beware of doing business with any cmpany that steals one's personal information to use itto try to get you to do business with them.

Compulife Software Lost Big in Federal Court! - Agents are Entitled to Monetary Damages from Compulife Software.

AUTHOR: Aaron - (United States)

POSTED: Friday, December 14, 2018

My company makes great software that we give away for free. Free forever. Obviously, a company such as Compulife Software that sells similar software is offended by my company's great free software.

https://www.naaip.org/community/topic/13-compulife-lawsuit-join-a-class-action-lawsuit-or-sue-individually/ - shows Judge James M. Hopkins 53 page decision in my company's favor. Those insurance agents that were harmed by Compulife's reckless and malicious behavior are encouraged to seek damages from Compulife Software and Robert Barney, the owner of Compulife Software.

The Facts About NAAIP

AUTHOR: Bob barney - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, September 14, 2015

I am Robert Barney, the president of Compulife Software, Inc.

Compulife is referred to in the original Ripoff report.

I have important facts related to this complaint and to the reply of "nathanielgold" who purports to be the President of NAAIP.

1.  NAAIP is not a corporation, it has no president.

2.  Nathaniel Goldwasser is a made up name; there is no Nathaniel Goldwasser.

3.  David Gordon is a made up name, used by the principal of NAAIP:  David Rutstein.

4.  You can learn more about David Rutstein's exploits, including why he uses a fake name, at my website:  http://www.davidrutstein.com/

5.  I do not understand why the posting of "Ami" (who is NOT the owner of NAAIP; indicated by his posting) precedes the posting of "nathanielgold" in the thread that follows the complaint.  It makes it confusing, in that "Ami" was clearly responding to the post written under the name "nathanieldgold".

6.  I concur with "Ami" as to the facts regarding the true identiy of David Gordon.  Once again, please consider the facts that are set out at http://www.davidrutstein.com/

As to the comments of "nathanielgold", who I believe to be David Rutstein:

a) A typical Compulife subscribers pays $276 per year for a life insurance quote engine for their website

b) The "agent back office" issue reported by David Rutstein, which was found and exploited by David Rutstein, has been resolved.  It was resolved in less than a week after Mr. Rutstein began contacting people like the complainant.  It was resolved PRIOR to Mr. Rutstein's posting here.  Mr. Rutstein knew this and made his self-serving posting regardless.

c)  David Rustein's comments about the security and safety of the Compulife internet program are false and defamatory.  Those comments were made with malice, intended to injure the reputation of Compulife which has faithfully served Canadian life insurance agents since 1982, and served American insurance agents since 1987.

d) The quote engines of NAAIP, to which David Rutstein refers, include a "Life Insurance Quote Engine".  The software used to power the NAAIP "Life Insurance Quote Engine" is a pirated copy of the Compulife Internet Engine.  Dealing with this software piracy is what lead me to become intimately aware of David Rutstein and his NAAIP operation.

e) At one time NAAIP hosted its site in Colorado, with Media Temple.  I filed a formal complaint with Media Temple regarding the piracy of my company's software by NAAIP.  Media Temple told Mr. Rutstein to cease and desist or his website would be taken down.  Mr. Rutstein took down the "Life Insurance Quote Engine".  A few weeks later Mr. Rutstein moved his website to a server in Israel, away from U.S. software piracy laws, and began again pirating my company's software.

For more facts related to this matter, I would encourage readers of this thread to visit:   http://www.davidrutstein.com/

Corrections and further information

AUTHOR: Ami - (Canada)

POSTED: Saturday, July 04, 2015

The operation of "naaip" is controlled and materminded by David Rutstein, not as indicated in the original report.  David Rutstein is a former life insurance agent whose license was revoked by the licensing regulators.  Mr. David Rutstein holds out under various aliases, including "David Gordon", "Nathaniel (Nate) Goldwasser" etc. Mr. David Rutstein also runs the operation "WebDesignOffice USA" of which the  "naaip" operation appears to be a side operation.

Chronology:"
David Rutstein, representing himself as "David Gordon" convinced me to provide him with life insurance software and pricing data feed, claiming that he was wronged by "ienetworks" to whom he claimed he paid for similar software and data feed beforehand and who he claimed have suddenly and without warning have cut him off.

Towards the end of May 2015, it came to my attention that "David Gordon" and "naaip" were accused (not proven to be, but accused) of "pirating" the software of another entity who is producing software and providing data of similar nature.  As a software designer and developer and as the President of a leading software firm in the respective niche market, I view software piracy as a serious matter and offence.  I therefore researched "naaip".  The information gathered in my research of "naaip" and the individual who runs the operation - research that produced information from both the US and Israel - lead to additional serious concerns about naaip and the individual who was holding out as "David Gordon".

Among the additional concerns were concerns that the alias "David Gordon" was adopted by Mr. David Rutstein from the name of a young American who emigrated to Israel, joined the IDF, and died under mysterious circumstances in 2014.  Another concern came from bizarre activities attributed to Mr. David Rutstein, and through which he attempted to collect money from donors by accusing a former Prime Minister and President of Israel and a Nobel Prize for Peace lauriate, Mr. Shimon Peres, of the murder of another popular Prime Minister of Israel, Yitzhak Rabin.

On June 9th 2015, after extense research and cross checks, I contacted Mr. Rutstein by telephone to give him an opportunity to respond to the accusations against him and his "naaip" operation.  Mr. Rutstein, insisting he was "David Gordon" was evasive and failed to address any of the accusations against him, as well as to my findings during my research.  I followed up on the same date by e-mail, also expressing concern over the name he was using, "David Gordon", asking him to at least prove that his real name was in fact "David Gordon" by such means as a picture ID (His picture appeared widely holding in photo and video and identifying him as "David Rutstein" when he tried to raise money to support his allegations against Mr. Peres.).  He came up with various excuses, all of which made no sense, claiming that he did not have any picture ID.  After giving him several opportunities to address the numerous concerns that were raised by my research and through various public information sources on the Internet, as well as in Israel, and when he failed to pay the agreed upon monthly fee for continuation of the software and data service, I had no option but to terminate our software and data service to "naaip", and to refund him, in full, the fees that he paid for the period of May 7 to June 6th.

I am placing this note for one purpose and only for that purpose, that purpose being that anyone considering any business or monetary transactions with "naaip", "webdesignoffice USA" or Mr. David Rutstein (holding out under various aliases including "David Gordon", "Nathaniel (Nate) Goldwasser", etc.) should be very careful and cautious.  The individual running and promoting "naaip" is a slick and skillful salesman, and I have to admit that he is quite convincing in his pitch.

My Company was Helping You

AUTHOR: nathanielgold - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 17, 2015

Your Compulife quote engine was costing you between $420 per year. Compulife engines are not password protected and in numeric, consecutive order.

An example of the Compulife agent back office is -

compulife.xxx/sxxe/2500/axxxn.html - (this is not an exact link) - Agents should monitor their Compulife back office for tampering. A malicious agent can access and edit every this agent back office simply by moving the 2500 to 2501, etc - no password needed.

Agent's should not. I repeat, should not have a Compulife quote engine as client facing under any circumstance.

Compulife quote engines are not secure - any malicious agent who knows how to use a keyboard can steal every lead. You have to be pretty stupid to put a Compulife quote engine on your site.

In essense, the email that was sent to you was your best friend. We were protecting you.

On the other hand, NAAIP term life, whole life, iul, final expense, med sup, LTC, annuity and auto quote engines are free and secure. Our quote engines are part and parcel of a complete business website that we give to any agent that has an insurance license. NAAIP sites are free and always will be. No Strings or no obligations. We want to impress you.

Please join our Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday conference call at 12 noon ET. Details at naaip.org
