After ten years with the same company, they let me go. And I was left with nothing more than a casual handshake and a “see you later” from my boss. I couldn’t remember a time when I was so scared, but I needed to do something to make ends meet.

I applied for job after job, and I got the “we’ll get back to you” speech which I know means nothing. I needed another option, and I needed to find it fast. That’s how I came across Advidi, which told me all kind of stories about how people are making fortunes by working from home.

The business seemed real enough, but looks can be deceiving. I never knew the meaning of those words until I signed up, and that’s when the real frustration started.

Of course, it didn’t seem that way in the beginning, because I was getting results (or so it seemed). Little did I know that the money I was making was nothing more than a set of numbers on a website, because I never got one dollar of it.

I did everything I could to get them to pay, but they told me the same story about how they couldn’t verify the referrals. Those jerks at their main office couldn’t care less, and I knew they were lying to me. I even went to Mike Schwalbach, who I knew was a conniver the moment I spoke with him. He used all kind of deflection tactics to get me off the phone, and because of the considerable distance between the two of us there was no way I could force him to pay.

Realizing I was beating a dead horse, I eventually gave up. But I wanted to tell this story so I can keep the same thing from happening to anyone else. I have no idea how many people he’s screwed, but when you look at his company’s reach it has to be quite a bit.

Mike Schwalbach is a thief and a con artist, and he doesn’t care about the success of his partners. I wish I had known that in the beginning, or I never would have signed up. I’m slowly picking up the pieces, but that was before I had to short-sell my home – a move that no doubt will look badly on my credit report.
