BEWARE OF SO CALLED RECOVERY ROOM SCAMS (HomeLand Arbitration) (Owner Michael Cooper- Being Investigated by the FTC) (Partner Ryan Clark) To all the Consumers, please be careful dealing with this company HomeLand Arbitration. They are not a trusted company. They have been known to target individuals that purchased educational products and services. They will contact you by email, phone, search engine or just mail you a letter. They come across like they are a government agency and convince people that they have been investigating a handful of business that provide educational and mentor services and they found out that the companies are scams. They then began to tell you that they will help you recover credit card charges with no Investment up front. If they are able to scam the card companies into giving you money back, they then charge you a fee from 20% up to 60% depending on if they think you're a sucker or not. Not only do they take advantage of the clients but they also submit forged documents to the credit card companies, that’s why they ask you to send them a copy of any contracts or agreements so they can duplicate it with changes to submit to the card companies, which means if you allowed this company to work on your behalf than you and Home Land Arbitration have just committed a Federal Crime! Unfortunately this company won't tell you all of the details on how they do business. Do yourself a favor and Google (Michael Cooper Tax Club) and click on every link on that first page so you can see what type of people he is involved with and what kind of a character he is. My strong advice is to stay clear of Home Land Arbitration. They have multiple Lawsuits being filed against them for Fraud and a handful of other charges. Homeland Arbitration LLC. (((REDACTED))), Orlando Florida (((REDACTED)))
if you search the " Hemingway address" at the broward county property appraisers office website and open the deed transaction you will see he sold the townhouse June 6, 2016 and the deed gives an Orlando address for him.
sounds like it's around lake Eola...pricey neighborhood but the address is worth a try for debtors to attempt to locate ...

This "business" was raided by the FBI, ATF and US Postal Inspectors On Dec 8, 2015. I knew this place was bogus because it had all blacked out windows. No business signage of any kind. Every single employee was very young, all driving BMWs and they all were smokers. Cameras were installed and they had two big alarm boxes with red lights on them. I presumed this was their way of discouraging break ins. A break in would bring the police and they didn't want any part of that.
Front and back doors were locked 24 hrs a day. The only person who ever got in the front door was the FedEx guy. last week a furniture rental company came out and took back their office furniture. Right now on the front door to the business the property owner has posted a demand for rent money for over $3,000.
He's never gonna get that money because these people moved out, even taking the cameras and the halon devices. i feel badly for the people who were ripped off by these guys.

SCAMMER UPDATE! It looks like Homeland Arbitration has changed their name to Smith Associates PA. (Surprise Surprise!) This is exactly what Scammers do to avoid getting tracked down faster. But the heat is on them now. It's just a matter of time before they have the FTC knocking at their door!
I also got a warning notice from my bank and they said to watch out for Homeland Arbitration. So now the banks are becoming aware of these Scammers. As I get more information I will keep everyone updated. I will also upload the fraudulent contract that these guys modified to trick the banks. Thanks for the information Wayne; you saved me a lot of time and money. My attorney recommends that I use a fake name so Homeland Arbitration AKA Smith Associates PA. doesn't try to do anything harmful to me. I'm sure you will see me back on here soon.

Hello Helen,
I think you have the wrong Wayne Hun, and once again your story sounds like someone from Homeland Arbitration.
If they helped you out, that’s great! I'm surprised you’re not going about your business and enjoying your life. Why are you searching the Internet about Homeland Arbitration? That’s what makes me think your just a fake writing posts on RipOff Report defending a company that clearly is shady.
I'm not here to keep defending my bad experience with Homeland Arbitration. I think after people read the facts and do there due diligence they will clearly see what this company really is. In fact my attorney is still getting calls from my card company about the fraud document’s Homeland submitted to them. As of right now we may have to take them to court just so I can clear my name with the Card Company.
Once we settle everything I will be glad to post the actually court document’s just so everyone can see that I am telling the truth and to stay clear from these Scammers.
Good day

Homeland Arbitration Scammed Me!!!!

Thanks (Carol)? For your rebuttal, but your story sounds a little fishy and I believe your working for this company Homeland Arbitration!?!?
I'm an Ex-client of Homeland Arbitration and I have actual proof that your company forged my documents and submitted the information to the Credit Card Company. My Attorney dug up a lot of information about Homeland Arbitration and there is nothing you can say to make me think that these guys are legit.
In fact he found an FTC Lawsuit that sued a company just like Homeland Arbitration. Your company is called a Recovery Room. And if you look into what Recovery Rooms do, it's nothing but Fraud.
If anyone decides to work with these guys you might want to look at this lawsuit and do your due diligence.
Here is the link: http://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases/2013/11/ftc-settlement-default-judgment-impose-permanent-ban-marketers
And just to set the record straight, I actually liked the training that I received from the Mentor program I joined. The only reason I decided to work with Homeland Arbitration was because they convinced me that the company I was working with was a fraud company and was in trouble with the law. After my Attorney did his due diligence we found out it was 100% false information.
No matter what (Carol)? Says, I still recommend staying far away from Homeland Arbitration and any other Recovery Room Companies. They are the real fraudulent companies that needs to be taken down!

I have used Homeland Arbitration to help me fight educational and coaching scam artists! Educational and coaching scam artists got me for close to $17,000. I was sick about it. They helped me win back most of my money and yes, i paid them a percentage.....however.....i can tell you, a percentage is 100% better than losing it all!! Thank you so very much Ryan Clark and Homeland Arbitration for all of your help not just for my case but for hundreds of others! If you have been scammed by Educational or offers of Coaching for starting an Internet Business, please, do yourself a favor and hire Homeland Arbitration to help you get your money back! You pay nothing until they win your case. You have nothing to lose! I highly recommend them!!

I received a mailed letter from Homeland Arbitration

I noticed on this complaint was filed by Wayne-other, funny I received a call twice this week from a Wayne from Platinum Institute LLC, one of the same companies that is listed on Homeland Arbitration's report I received in letter form back in May 2013. Wayne should list his last name. That seems to be a problem with Platinum Institute, theie representatives don't provide their last names, when contacting you and signing you up into the training program. Prior to Wayne, I was trying to contact Kyle, who was the pushy sales rep for the program, when I got suckered into the program back in 9/2012, but I did write down his boss's name with promises of refunds if not satisfied, which will be in my complaint with the Federal Trade commission, already filed with the State of Utah and California, I want my money back, and get the company put on notice. Tired of companies scamming consumers. Homeland Arbitration is a service, they don't hide that in their letters or website, but they advised for free on where to file my complaints, did not ask for my credit card or a fee. So stop hiding behind lies Wayne-other.
