Just a quick review of the horrible service provided by Alexander Uren, Eric Walstrom and Company.

I purchased a reseller plan from flameserve.com a few months back and I have had nothing but bad experiences from the start. I should have known simply by the price. $29.99 for a lifetime reseller account should have clued me in that something was not right.

It took them just a little over 72 hours to even acknowledge my account was not set up, even after constant posting in their "support" forums. Finally got the email with my login info and sure enough, it wasn't correct info.Another 2 days of forum posting and finally got login info that was correct.Almost. The password for cPanel was correct but no access to WHM or WHMPHP. 2 more days of posts and finally I have access to everything.

Then there was issues with my account not being able to create reseller accounts and what seemed like an endless train of misconfiguration on their part. After 3 weeks, we finally got to the point where I could start bring in clients. I brought in a few at first to test the waters so to speak and we all had nothing but problems. The server was constantly maxed on memory and resulted in aprox 2 hours of downtime each day with "Internal Server Error".

I got tired of posting in the forums and being told the problem is fixed when it obviously wasn't so I decided to cut my losses and move my clients once again. Before I could get any of the data transferred to another reseller account, these jokers decided it was time to kill the server and reinstall everything, WITHOUT TAKING ANY BACKUPS!

No email, no warning whatsoever, they just deleted everyone's data and reinstalled the server. Everyone that had accounts there lost all their data. Now they have returned as frostserve.com, and have banned me when I complained about all our data loss and even refuse to reactivate my "lifetime" account, not that I would actually use it, but I did legally purchase it. If anyone is considering buying services from these people, I would advise not against it.

They have absolutely no idea how to manage a server or a business. The absolute worst host I have ever experienced in my 15 or so years on the web. You truly do get what you pay for and sometimes not even that.

Owner still operating in the fashion

AUTHOR: Former Customer - ()

POSTED: Thursday, June 05, 2014

I am a former customer of this company. The last incarnation of Alexander's hosting trainwreck was called bringto.net. This was brought online shortly after Frostserve was sold. He did the exact same thing as was done with frostserve, flameserve and many other of his shammy operations in the past. His staff attempted to help as much as they could but Alexander was the leader of this operation and he was the person that closed up, reformated their server with taking backups of my and other customers data. His staff even offer us free hosting because of how Alexander treated us. I will bet he has setup shop again under a new name so please be on the look out for this guy. He offers lifetime hosting for cheap and once he gets some customers, they complain about the horrid hosting and service supplied by him. He then closes shop and sets up under a new name, leaving them without hosting or even a backup of the data. We are currently in the process of starting legal action in the form of a class action law suit based in the state of Illinois, United States.

Greatly Improved

AUTHOR: cloudcydia - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, March 12, 2014

FrostServe has been purchased and under new management. They no longer offer the free hosting plan which I think is smart since that was doomed from the start as far as a sustainable business model. I have the Premium Plan through them and I am satisfied so far. Customer support was friendly and helpful, the cPanel access was instant after payment unlike the old frostserve where I hear people had to wait to be approved. Over all I have no complaint about FrostServe, I think it is on the right track now.

POSTED: Monday, September 30, 2013

Andy,

Like I said in my last few posts, just send the PayPal trasnaction!  Send the full PayPal transaction including the date, so we can verify it!  What's so hard about doing that?  Just send that to abuse@frostserve.com

Like I said before.  Stop avoiding sending the PayPal transaction, send the full thing, including the date to abuse@frostserve.com

Andy,

You still can view transactions that you have sent.  Email the whole page screenshot of the transcation (So it includes the date) to abuse@frostserve.com

Please stop trying to dodge sending it.
If this is not sent within 24hrs, we will be opening a lawsuit under 31 U.S.C. §§ 37293733 under the false claims act.

Please don't use this method to threaten, or scare people, this is not what a good business should do. I even don't know whether you are a legitimate company or not, because the PayPal transaction shows wilderness hosting which does not contain any company prefixes/suffixes. I don't care whether you file a lawsuit or not because my report is legitimate, but you can do that if you want to, and let's see the outcome.

Well, the transaction is over 60 days old and I cannot open a dispute or receive a refund from you either, so forget about it.

Here is the link to verify WHT:

Hi Andy Thank you for your response. Please email abuse@frostserve.com with the full PayPal transaction (Including the date) so we can verify your claim. We need this to be sure that you are a client. (As we don't know if you are the person who is posting on Web hosting talk) If you were able to take the screenshot on Webhosting talk it shouldn't be too hard to send it to abuse@frostserve.com

I would rather not to do this.

My account is gone, money is gone and everything is gone, I cannot login to the control panel anymore.

I'm disappointed with this company and I would just use this review to warn the future users of this company. Better avoid this company.

Please stop replying to this report, as it can do nothing good and I cannot remove this report anyway.

Thanks for your replies but they couldn't help.

Wilderness Hosting Inc Not Affiliated

AUTHOR: FrenzyHost Network LLC - ()

POSTED: Saturday, September 28, 2013

I can confirm that Wilderness Hosting Inc is not affiliated. Wilderness Hosting was shut down a couple months ago, as part of its transition from a free host to a game server host. Did you checkout via paypal? If that's the case, please file a dispute with PayPal.

You have just posted my personal phone number and address. I'd reccomend you contact the administrators of this site to have that removed/changed, as it opens you to not only a slander suit, but multiple others.

AUTHOR: Eric Walstrom - ()

I would hightly appreciate if you would check your facts before posting information like this. I have not been working with this company for over 6 months, which likely explains your issue, since I was keeping all the servers stable.
