Castle Pay Day Loans I applied for a $500 loan on 11/12 & after paying $1266, I am being told if I want to pay of loan I have to pay an additional $600. I call the toll free number, but it is very difficult to speak with, Internet

I signed up for a $500 loan in November of 2012. I had heard of predatory lenders, but I felt that it could not happen to me and I was in a financial bind. So I signed up through this online broker agency to obtain this loan. It was the biggest mistake of my life. Five months later and I'm still paying for this loan. I have already paid them $1266, and Castle Pay Day Loan is now telling me that if I want to pay my loan off I have to pay $600. I cannot believe that it would take $1800 just to pay $500.

I should have checked here first as I saw that others have had the same problems. I'm filing a complaint with the better business bureau as wll and whoever else will  listen to me. I put stop payments on my checking account, not sure if that will work, but I refuse to pay them anymore money. I don't even remember getting a copy of the terms. I call the 1800 number and they don't speak English very well. All they tell me that is that I need to call 3 days before, but I'm not sure what for. Even the emails that they send you, don't make any sense.

Please, please don't sign up for these types of loans. The hardship that this has caused me and not to mention the stress is overwhelming. I was already behind when I got the loan, but I got a tax refund and I was thinking I would be back on my feet this year after a very tough 4 years. I lost my house and just when I landed a good paying job, now Castle Pay Day loan is here to cause more havoc in my life.  If I can prevent one more person from getting a loan with these people, maybe this drama won't be in vain.
