Anything coming to you from approved companies supported by this organization while mark reyland is exec director should be researched carefully. There is a hefty fee involved with the certifiction process which makes it a paid endorsement. You can do a search on any of the inventor forums for any of the above names and see the history of his many personas. The UIA would be better off separating from his name if they desire credibility.

UIA UK Statement
AUTHOR: Aussie Sapper (Smash Them) - (Australia)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, October 06, 2011
Dear Mr Pater,
In respect of your recent comments regarding the United Innovation Association UKs (UIAUK) alleged links to the United
Inventors Association USA (UIAUSA) I wish to offer the following statement;
The UIAUK was formed in March 2011, and as we intended to use similar branding to the UIAUSA, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the UIAUSA which allowed us to use such branding without any breach of Intellectual Property rights, was required.
The UIAUK and the UIAUSA do not have any formal or legal ties to each other, except for the above mentioned and are in no way related in any company formation, therefore your recent accusations regarding our being complicit with the UIAUSA or its Chief Executive, Mark Reyland, are unfounded and untrue.
However, in light of matters arising recently and new information received by the UIAUK we feel that we are no longer able to continue to bear any resemblance to the UIAUSA in name, branding or image and would like to make it clear that any association with the UIAUSA or Mark Reyland has ceased with immediate effect.
The UIAUK is, and always will be, a credible, honest and hardworking association supporting invention and innovation, new ideas and design and will not participate in any activities which might show us as being anything less than this.
Yours Sincerely
Simon Brown
Founder &
CEO

THE MARK REYLAND I KNOW
AUTHOR: Got screwed - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Friday, September 09, 2011
I hope most people understand that you cant believe everything you read on the internet, good or bad. While the World Wide Web is an amazing source of information only a click away, and a great way for people to get the truth out, it is also a tool for people with dark motives to attack the credibility of others to serve their own agenda.
The following is a description of events that led to my introduction to Mr. Mark Reyland and The United Inventors Association.
I recently hired a company called Absolutely New Inc to market my products. One of the major factors that I considered before I hired them is that they were accredited with the United Inventors Association. It wasn't long before I began wondering what I had gotten myself into. Serena Soo the coordinator handling my products was giving me marketing materials to proof that looked like they were prepared by a third grader.
I pulled the contract that had been mailed to me out of the file to see if she was delivering the materials as promised. They were not. She was trying to pass off a one page concept sheet as the entire "marketing package". It was at this time that I discovered that a paragraph had been added to this last page of the contract that was sent to me by US mail that was not in the original contract that had been emailed to me by an employee named Dave Stickel.
With a little research I discovered that the paragraph added was a disclosure required by the American Inventors Protection Act of 1999 as well as California Business and Professions code. Shortly after this I discovered that Serena Soo had lied to me about her attendance at the Chicago House Wares Show. I was having a difficult time trying to work through these issues with Absolutley News Legal Councel Tony Flores and CEO Richard Donat so I decided I was going to sue them.
Before filing the suit I sent a demand letter. In response Absolutely New sent me a check for much less than my damages along with a letter full of mischaracterizations of the circumstances which were frankly insulting and untrue. However I decided to cash the check because after a little more research I found out that Absolutely New had been suspended by the Secretary of State. The suspension had been initiated by the Franchise Tax Board. This is done for one reason; failure to pay corporate taxes. I then filed papers with the Secretary to see Absolutely New's Surety Bond which is required by invention promotion firms in California and four other states. No Bond had been posted.
So I cashed the check even though I had rock solid evidence of the fraud and breach of contract that had been committed. A judgement does you no good if a company has no money, which appeared to be the case, and a chance I couldn't take.
The next thing I did was send a complaint to Mark Reyland of the United Inventors Association. Mr. Reyland called me the very next day. He was horrified about what had happened to me and assured me that the UIA would look into the matter and take the appropriate action if warranted. I have had several conversations with him and I can tell you that this man has integrity, he cares about the independent inventor, and he is on a mission to help clean up the industry of Invention Promotion
Company's. He has kept me informed every step of the way as to the action taken by the UIA against Absolutely New and recently informed me that Absolutely New is turning in their resignation as an accredited member. He has assured me that the UIA will do the same for any other inventor, if presented with credible evidence of wrong doing by one of its accredited members. The blogs I read on this site appear to be unfounded and written by a people with an ax to grind for some reason or other and in know way represent The Mark Reyland I know.
In closing, I wouldn't recommend AbsolutelyNew to my worst enemy if I had one, and my experience of Mark Reyland is a that he is a stand up guy.

Kenny is a despicable human who has left a trail of deceit. He will do anything to drag people through the mud. Kenny lied to me and got me to leave my previous company to work for him at INNOVATORS WAREHOUSE where it quickly became apparent that he was full of BS . He is a liar and a thief. Soon you will see all documentation to prove it. Kenny has ruined my life and is trying to ruin others, even at the cost of innocent children. If you choose to do business with a person who lacks character, don't be surprised what you get in the end. Any positive reviews he has are those of OLD clients when he first opened up. He has nothing current going on which is why he couldn't afford to pay me any longer.

Kenny,
I would like to take a moment and thank you and your company for the services that you have provided for me and my EasyClean duster product. When you first create a product as an inventor and are looking for someone to help take it to market you are bombarded by companies promising many things. It can be very confusing and I have appreciated your honest approach as an individual and also Innovators Warehouse business model to introduce products into the market place the most effective and economical way. I think its every inventors fear to be taken for thousands of dollars and get nowhere and you have the inventor in mind.
As a result of working with IW, I am currently working with a company which has access to 50,000 retail stores and I am very excited about the possibility of getting my product in stores. I would recommend your services to any new inventor with a product or idea to use your services there at Innovators Warehouse.

Dear Kenny,
Thank you very much for helping me sell my trademark. It was clear from the start that you knew exactly what you were doing. Not many companies can boast that they got their client five times more than the original offer. FIVE TIMES MORE!! Wow. All I can say is you exceeded my expectations and I look forward to working with you again.

LICENSING EXPERIENCE AT ITS BEST
I was first referred to Kenny Durham of Innovators Warehouse by Mark Reyland of United Inventors Association USA (www.uiausa.org). Mark described Kenny to be a very honest and professional person. I have since found that to be absolutely true!
As the owner of Around the Table games, I consulted with Kenny to help me prepare to search for a Licensee for my product line. Ironically, I was offered a licensing agreement about that same time. So my focus with Kenny shifted to that of consultant. Kennys experience negotiating agreements allowed him to offer numerous suggestions that helped me to draft a comprehensive agreement while protecting my best interests.
I have found Kenny and the staff at Innovators Warehouse to be the most knowledgeable, professional and motivated group of people to work with. I have since referred numerous other inventors to Innovators Warehouse.
Innovators Warehouse is the perfect resource for inventors!

I spent countless hours trying to put together my own marketing plan, materials and contact list without any success. I was at a dead end and for my idea to make it anywhere I needed help. After working with the team at Innovators Warehouse, I feel like the ball is finally rolling. They have surpassed all my expectations when designing marketing materials and have gone above and beyond anything I could have asked for. On top of this, I feel confident they are getting my idea in front of all the right people. Im one step closer thanks to you.

None of this information Kenny Durham gives his potential clients or employees is fact if the above is true. IT IS A LIE. He has never negotiated a licensing deal, secured venture capital or had anything to do with start-up concepts except Innovators Warehouse where he uses the success of others to his own pursuit. Even mark Reyland. Ask him for references to those things listed above and he will never be able to provide them prior to Innovators Warehouse. He wouldn't for me. I was going to do business with Innovators Warehouse after seeing them at a trade show with Mark Reyland and was SO glad I did my research first.

I'm the real Leslie Hash
AUTHOR: Leslie Hash - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Monday, June 20, 2011
I'm the real Leslie Hash and why Kenny Durham is posting as me is really what is laughable. Here is the real story. I came in for a job interview with Kenny and had already done my research on IW. I had printed out a lot of information I found on the internet, including this site. When I asked about it, he got very defensive and put on this show that is normally reserved for your sleeziest of car dealer sales people. Which made sense when checking out his little story about himself on his website. It says he was part of a multi-billion dollar "switch" company then goes on to say " I started a new chapter in my life as a General Manager of a Van Tuyl Company." Van Tuyl is a family owned company that has car dealerships across the country. Now it made sense. Upon further research of the industry of invention promotion firms, I noticed that every company who provides representation to inventors is required to provide their successes in writing prior to entering into an agreement with an inventor and that the company must abide my state inventor protection laws also. When I asked about this, he made it seem like he had dozens of licenses and proceeded to tell me about some successful start-ups he did with his former company. He talked about a neo natal substrate warmer and some sort of window welding technology his company was responsbile for in which he made millions off of. I found information online about the neo natal substrate warmer which was donated to children's mercy in kansas city by the march of dimes and Millennium Marketing Group his former company, which of course he takes credit for. Below is an excerpt of services from his website and when asked about these 4 services and how many clients who purchases these services had made money from them, I got the song and dance with no straight answer. For a company who clearly states on their website "Inventors start making money with your patent by attracting the right innovative companies", you would think that one of these services had attracted the right innovative companies for his current client and they could show that they are making money. I'm willing to bet that no one who has purchased these services has made money at all. Maybe this is why the Attorney General is involved? I wonder how many royalty checks his clients are receiving? A better question would be, why in the world is Mark Reyland and the UIA supporting a company who they know is giving representation to inventors, yet continues to support IW knowing they are obviously skirting the inventor act of 99 designed to protect inventors from this very thing? It looks like Mark Reyland will be in town this week for the inventor's club of kansas city meeting (ICKC). I wonder what ICKC knows about all of this? Maybe someone should send them an email with the links.
Here are the exceprts mentioned from above:

Innovators Warehouse Kenny Durham is Leslie Hash??
AUTHOR: Consumer Alert - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, June 19, 2011
Did you buy this company Leslie or is this man posting under an Alias as Mark Reyland is so fond of doing? The derogatory manner of this post gets Innovators Warehouse nowhere if seeking to make a squeaky clean claim when posted more like a drunken tirade. The compalint filed with the Attorney General of Missouri and the lack of resolution speaks for itself as far as reputation goes. Who would care to speak with such a person, let alone do business with them? Any man who would harshly drag a woman into his claims against a company he previously worked for is full of good character?
I am sure Mark Reyland loves your input. If this doesn't cause the United Inventors Association to disassociate themselves with Innovators Warehouse then I think we have our answer on all other claims.

AUTHOR: Leslie Hash - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Friday, June 17, 2011
Mark Reyland is not receiving money from Innovators Warehouse and you saying he owns part of my company is laughable. Clearly you are unhappy with the dealings you have had with him but you are way out of line dragging me into your mess. Why would you make all of these claims without asking me about them first. Do you really want the truth or do you just like attacking innocent companies? I am not hiding anything and would be glad to answer any questions you have. The complaints you are referring to are ficticous. I don't have a single complaint anywhere other than the fake claims that are being made up by Scott. You have bet on the wrong horse and should have done your own research before hand. For one thing the law suit between Scott and I is public knowledge. Look at it. There is nothing in the case about stealing and all that other bull. It is a simple non compete case which he cannot win. This and IW's squeaky clean record where more that Scott could bear so he went on a smear campaign, which you are shamefully helping him with. You are being played. Scott and his skanky wife are only out for themselves and cant be trusted.
I am asking nicely to please be left out of your fight with Mark. I have nothing to do with it. You need to take me out of your negative posts or at least call me and hear what I have to say.

Innovators Warehouse & UIA SCAM!
AUTHOR: Santodomingo - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 24, 2011
We just got word that Mark Reyland is part of Innovators Warehouse, which is setup to feed off of UIA inventor inquiries, then a piece of every deal Kenny Durham with Innovators Warehouse profits from, Mark gets a percentage! This is against UIA policy, yet it is still allowed to happen. It's a racket and we have the emails to prove it! Some people just don't know when to quit and keep their mouth shut. Especially in writing. They will have a chance to explain themselves soon. Stay tuned for our next blog detailing these fine, fine emails. All at the UIA and Innovators Warehouse should be worried.
Mark Reyland you should be darn ashamed of yourself! How you talk about inventors and how you and Kenny talk about inventors is pitiful. Only if these inventors knew how to talk about them behind their back.
All inventors should not give a penny to Innovators Warehouse, the UIA, or Obvious Ideas, Mark Reyland's company, or any other company that the UIA "endorses". Innovators Warehouse is a new company started at about the same time Mark Reyland became executive director of the UIA! This I also found, research here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/advertising-deceptive/innovators-warehouse/innovators-warehouse-kenny-dur-c9ad9.htm. Innovators Warehouse has complaints all over the place, just look them up. even with the state of Missouri. Attorney General's office says they are aware of this company now and have been investigating. They said Innovators Warehouse never responded to them They are happy to review the emails in our posession. (http://www.consumer.ago.mo.gov/Know_MO/ then search Innovators Warehouse)
Also here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/patent-trademark-services/innovators-warehouse/innovators-warehouse-kenny-dur-ae8ab.htm . It clearly shows Kenny is in a court battle with his previous employer about theft of client information. Don't be fooled! If they are claiming successes, ask for proof! More than likely Kenny is sharing information or success from a previous venture. This case is not done and it's all there for everyone to see! Do not give your money to these people. You will run the risk of them shutting down after you give them your money! They have never made anyone any money and don't fall for the relationship with Mark Reyland and the UIA. When you call Innovators Warehouse, you can never get ANYONE who is listed on their website. We are wondering how many employees they really have and if their address is actually a business or someone's home!
Stay tuned, this is far from over, we are putting together our next blog. There are others besides Mark and Kenny behind this Circus and we intend to find out for you...the consumer. Kansas City here we come!

"I help moms who have ZERO shot at anything really
special happening in their lives and I pull the strings so they can be proud of
themselves."
Reyland will deny ever saying this
I'm sure. If he does the entire information will be published to show he is

Did the United Inventors Associations Board members do a back ground check on
this man before they voted him in as the UIA Executive Director ?

About the UIA rep who posted
AUTHOR: Marvin G - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, April 19, 2011
The rep posting on behalf of the UIA IS Mark Reyland himself. What does this say about the stability of the man or his lack of honesty by leading readers to believe another board member is posting in his defense?
If the UIA backs Reyland in what he posted above I want to see proof the UIA is taking criminal action against an inventor who wants to expose Reyland. This is nothing more than another smear campaign at the hands of Mark Reyland against another person he chooses to harrass and stalk.

More from United Inventors Association
AUTHOR: Julie R - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, April 16, 2011
Free speech is one of the many things that make this a great country. While Mark Reyland of the United Inventors Association may find this information to be "harrassing" it is factual and there is nothing he can do about public information. Mark Reyland himself is the master of knowing how to stir up trouble on the internet and it sounds to me like Mark Reyland himself is the one guilty of stalking and harrassing the gentleman he mentions above (who did not write this post). He appears to have made his bed and is now whining about having to lie in it.
I am sure Mark Reyland posting about taking legal steps makes him sound like a victim, but at the end of the day organizations such as this are nothing more than a mask for scams. Doing business with the United Inventors Association or taking advice to do business with its associated companies while this man is in charge is a risk not worth taking. Crafty advertising doesn't cover the trail of deception. It has long been known in the inventor community that people fall for scams a lot more easily when they are tied together in numbers and look to be "reputable". Why wouldn't a particular attorney, a invention organization and several scam promotion companies want to tie themselves together? It doesn't mean they are any different than the so-called bad guys they are out to get (or funnel business to themselves under such a guise).
I wonder what the origial founders of the UIA would have to say about how they are conducting business today...or maybe the rep from the UIA who posted above would like to post his name and credentials? I hardly doubt you will find reputable people who are not tied into making money out of this business coming here in masses to defend its reputation. Maybe hen we can change our minds.

This posting is but one of many Troy Robison of Chicago Ill has posted all over the internet. We have taken legal steps to enforce criminal stalking laws in an effort to ensure we stop him from harassing others.
Under the leadership of Mr. Reyland the UIA will continue, as we have for over 25 years, to support the inventor community and provide quality educational tools to inventors all over the United States.
