===================== NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED
=====================
mortgage investors corporation An hour or two before our closing st petersburg, Florida
This all started about a week ago and we were to close last night, Prior to what was to be arrival I finally decided to do my "Due Dilligence" and checked them out on the internet. If found not one positive feedback and they have a D+ rating with the Better Business Bureau .
Well I tried to call to cancel and did not get a answer, it has now been 24 hrs. later and no one has attempted to contact me.
I called my bank and disputed the $1601.00 charge that MIC made to my acct. (they initially it would be returned at closing), then the day of closing it went to 5-7 days. So I wasn't going to take any chances.
Lets go back to the beginning, you know when I was told this was a fixed rate when I called in. and when the "senior mortgage loan officer" arrived I was told it was a hybrid Arm. And it almost made sense until I thought about their fees and the 3 points which totaled up to almost $7000.00 and how long it would take to recoup that cost, too long.
I caught them in a # of lies and misrepresentations and it really saddens me that they claim to be there to help the Veterans. and the only people they want help is themselves to "Your Money"
