 I have a dog i just got the pedigree back on. I've had him 16 months now and asked another breeder what the bloodline was by looking at the pedigree and he said ick was one of them. I was just googling them and ran across this & when I saw you listed the name Moran I immediately looked at the pedigree to see if it was there & it was. Two weeks ago when I took solo to the vet she came in and said wow what kind of dog I said blue nose she said no way he's got to be mixed with mastif (& I was shocked she was I'm her 60's she should have seen a dog like him ya know is what I thought to myself) but I replied no he's just a pit. He's 3 ft tall and 110 pounds at 16 months old. So when I read this it alarmed me but then on his pedigree that I just read it says Iron cross Morran Ukc# p548-540 DNA-VIP Which means the dog was DNA´d and it is what it is. Unless he swabbed another dog and sent that in. I guess we need to request someone from ukc go there themselves and perform a check

Pitbulls can have different colors but one thing does not make them pure in the eyes colors. Which ones are?

Hey Paul I've been reading what you write about Roman Vaughn and his dogs and it's true what you say about that. I've been looking several times in Stalefish, Morgan, Escalade, and I must say these dogs are based on pure strains of Presa Canario, no doubt of it. So I need to talk to you about someone who is doing the same thing that Roman Vaughn did. You have a private email or some way for us to talk about this subject? Thanks.

man i dont know what ICK been doing lately but i can vouch for two monsters here in VA ICK Canyon & Ick Arcadia both with heads at 26" combined weight of over 250lbs with litters on the ground & dont forget bout ICK Osiris the super producer hes in VA as well. All of which r monsters super cut no health problems so where all this bull stuff coming from? HATERS..... while i dont believe all the stats to be accurate on his site they r not far off if at all. And another thing how u claim the man live in a trailer and then say he got ten + 100lb dogs living in it in travel crates he must know the secret to packing sardines by hand. Be serious man and the reason he took his own links off would be obvious if u thought like a stand up man....... maybe so the other kennels didnt get dragged thru the mud by bottom feeders like u out to get him. As for being banned from ukc i seem to remember another bloodline that went thru a similar ordeal RAZORS EDGE had to register with adba most of their early years due to UKC standard before it was realized how vast and variant the pitbull breed is so unless ur sporting a 100% colby dog which i doubt u r then u ur self have no idea what the original pit bull looks like.....and for u to say no pit has the markings of ICK Stalefish is simply ignorant a pit can be any color except one and i challenge ur retarded self to even know it 

Roman Vaughn blatantly lied about size and stats on his dogs on the websites. I know for a fact because I have seen his dogs in person. He misconstrued the truth of everything. He has been banned from the UKC and ABKC for paper hanging(lied about the parents of the pups) which has turned his former clients into lawsuits. Now, last we have heard he is on a mission to create a BANDOGGE which is a mixed breed dog, in hopes of making his own breed so he can once again register dogs in a respectable registry.

All that has happened to this man and business was of his own doing. He lied, cheated and stole from customers. Roman Never stuck with his contract or word. I would recommend to avoid anyone who was working with this man with in the last 3 years.

Roman bred his dogs to a Presa Canario, knowing it was a Presa with pitbull papers. When confronted about why he did the breeding he responded with "The people want the biggest pitbull, so why not give it to them." When asked if he was going to keep anything from the breeding, his response was "No why would I want one of those?" Then when his customers pumped up the reputation of the mixed breed dogs they received, he decided to breed another one his females to the Presa and this time keep one. The dog he kept is named Stalefish. Another dog to avoid is Morran, another mixed breed dog produced by Roman and owned by ALabama Iron Kennels(The Iron cross Kennels of the east)Both Morran and Stalefish are 50% Presa, if you like pitbulls I would stay away from these animals as much as possible if you planned on getting a pitbull pup. Do your research and find some one who is a reputable breeder.

Its funny how everyone keeps saying they got dogs over a year ago from him but nothing recent. If he is so great why has he changed his website, does not attend shows anymore, and has had his dogs paperwork revoked? Yes  Revoked!! Call the UKC and ask them. So many people have requested DNA testing to prove that the puppy they purchased was really off of his dogs as he claims and yet he will not do the test..Hmm why I wonder, what is he hiding if the pups really are off his dogs?

 such a great kennel and Roman has never mislead anyone, never falsified documents etc then why has the UKC stripped him of his rights to register his dogs with them? Why is ICK out of business?

I purchased a puppy from Iron Cross Kennels a couple of years ago. I was nervous about sending my deposit too, but I was fully aware that deposits were non-refundable, but transferable to other breedings. It states that clearly on his site. When I went to pick up my puppy from ICK I was impressed by Roman's set up. All the dogs had plenty of food, water, sun, shade, and room to be confortable in their kennels. Some dogs were not in their kennels when I visited. They were out running around the property getting some good excercise. The dogs were impressive too. You'll have to see an ICK dog to know what I mean. Pictures can't capture everything, therefore don't do his dogs justice. 

I am writing in response to the complaint writting about Roman Vaughn and Iron Cross Kennels.  I have had several dealings with Roman and been to his place several times.  I too mailed a deposit before I knew Roman or "The Game". I too went to his place to pick up my Pit Bull pup.

That was 2 years ago and I have remained in contact with Roman throughout all this time.  He has always been there for every newbie question I had and I know that Roman is extremely extremely busy. 

I am beyond happy with my pit bull female, Sakura!  I get sooo many compliments on her it almost get annoying taking her out in public.  Our vet knew immediately when she saw her that she was a pit bull.  Never has anyone asked me if she was a presa!  Guess what...my girl is FULL LITTER MATE to Morran, the dog that was mentioned in the complaint as being a presa/pit mix.  She now has her 2nd litter on the ground.  All her pups have turned out beautiful, healthy, and correct!

Each time I went to Roman's place his dogs were well taken care of and had nice clean, spacious kennels with a set-up for easy cleaning, a misting system, shelter within the kennel, etc.  It was obvious to me that Roman spent a lot of time, energy, and money making sure his dogs have the best care.  His yard is spacious which allows for the dogs to have room to run around on a regular basis.  Which is something many many breeders lack unfortunately.

All of Roman's pits that I saw were very impressive in person, especially Disciple.  Its not just camera tricks!!  I can personally vouch for that!

When my family ran in to some personal issues and we were not able to care for Sakura's first litter, Roman volunteered to take Sakura and her entire litter until we got things under control. He promoted the breeding as well and didn't take much of a cut for himself and sent us the money as soon as he got it from the buyers.  Which I think is a real stand up move for a guy that has his own family, dogs, and business to take care of.  I will alway be grateful for that!

The fact that the complainer mentioned ickunderground.yuku in his complaint is a huge flag that this guy is a jealous competitor breeder who is choosing to muddy Roman's name to get ahead instead of standing by his own dogs to get ahead. 

The ICK Underground is really only known by other breeders as a network to help each other out...guess he chose to use his invitation as a dirty back-handed way to hurt Roman.  Talk about misusing trust!

By the way, never ever have I heard or thought that any dogs Roman, or any other breeder's dog associated with Roman, being on steroids!  Pits are ripped by nature, or atleast they should be.  With all the room that Roman has for them to run, play, and get exercize, no wonder why his dogs look robust.

Hey, complainer, if your dogs look flabby, get them some exercize.  Pits are not meants to be caged up all the time, they are a working canine breed. They enjoy being active!

I know Roman Vaughn and have visited in his home and lived in his neighborhood. He has a very nice home and takes good care of his dogs. I don't know what this is all about but this guy is simply not telling the truth.

I can account for this report ss a consumer myself from an Iron cross production to be a false report. I contacted Roman from Iron cross kennels about purchasing a pitbull puppy. Being from Australia where BSL on pits is out of control I could never own one until moving to the states. Through doing my research, and alot of it, I came across a male named "Disciple".

Although Roman had some amazingly LARGE pup's that has just been born I told him that I would rather wait for a Disciple pup. It just so happened that a guy had a female from a Kennel unconnected to his Kennel who had a litter of Disciple pups and referred me to him. He keeps his customers happy even if it means sending business elsewhere!

Roman is a top guy. True to his word and to his friends until he has reason not to... this person is obviously one of those people ... If you want to find out what the man is like and how he does business pick up the phone and call him otherwise email me your number and I will myself make a call and I'll speak to you in person.

I have been to Iron Cross Kennels and can personally vouch for his incredible kennels and impressive canine facility. I have been doing with Roman for years and always been satisfied with the quality of his bloodline and pups produced. He is always available whenever I call with questions regarding our dogs or just to simply see that everything has been going well. I have also seen his dogs and knowing about the other breeds have ever seen another breed dog in his yard nor would he would ever knowingly breed a mixed breed dog for just the sake of gaining size. He has dogs that have been producing dogs bigger than most other kennels without mixing the breeds. It's to bad this fake named coward would post something just to harm someones business in spite of there own failure. I vouch for Iron Cross and will continue to business as usual. I have done business with Roman a couple of times.  I had a good experience with him both times.  I bought my foundation b***h, "Jewelz" from him, and she was everything I hoped for and then some.  I recieved my papers and health certificate soon as I purchased my dog. Roman's facilities were very clean, and his dogs looked impressive in person.  JEWELZ turned out to be one of the best purchases I made

I also used his stud "Disciple".  I was very pleased with the results, Disciple is one of my favorite studs in the XL pitbull game.  My litter with him was incredible.  Again I recieved my papers right when I needed him.  Whoever wrote this crap is a jealous liar, and a shady individual.  Making up lies about someones breeding program is a cowardly act that only a weak individual would do.  Roman runs a top quality operation, and I have seen that first hand. Period.
