Hope 4 Homes Today Abbasi & Associates,Inc. a scam of loan modification,adviced to stop mortgage payments,cost me $2495.00 for squat! nothing , Internet

i read some of the complaints abou hope 4 home, back in may of 2013 they came to my house and sat down with my husband and i we filled all the paper work out they told us are mortagage payments was going to be 927.67 and a new interest rate of 3.25 for the life of the loan and asked for a check in that amount 927.67 and sat and talked with us about the bomings in boston he told us he was a boston police office and this job was his second job, well three weeks went by and letter came with a account no# on it so i called hope 4 home and my contact person jen told me to deposit the monies into that account  from may to sept i did this i thought the money we where paying was going to my mortagage c/o. well in oct i got a letter stated there was no money payed for 6 months, and they put a seize and dissit on are account so i coulnt talk to the mortagage c/o, finally i had it removed and i could speak to my mortagage c/o they told me that we where in florclose. i explained to them what happened , so they told us we where approved for a moderfication that i had to make two payments of 1791.90 with taxes included i made nov 2013 payment and made dec2013 payment but dec2013 payment got lost in the mail so now my own bank denied the mod for no-payment. i tried to get another cashairs check made out to them but they wouldnt except it, so i asked my bank what now, they told me that they had a program called re-age you need to make three payments of 1537.00 witch i did this is the fourth one and they denied me for that now its april 17 and i still in the mist of lossing my home. i went to the attorney general in the state of cailforia  and mass where i live and noone can help me. i am making payments to the bank , but they want to payments a month and i cant do that, i wish the attorney general could do something. they should be closed down and i dont know how there still in bussiness,,they got abouit 4635.00 off us and my mortagage charged me late fee and interest for the mortagage went being payed, i couldnt take the interest on the mortagage for my taxes this cause there was no interest cause of what they did,

My name is Matthew Abbasi and I am the principal of Abbasi & Associates. Its always difficult to respond to someone who defames you "anonymously" without any proof. Its easy to say nasty things about someone on-line without any back-up.

I am ethical attorney and my office is not some scam or rip-off. This complaint is wholly frivolous and reprehensible. Despite claims to the contrary I obtained a modification for this person but he does not want to pay for it. He has been trying to essentially black-mail me into giving him a "refund" for services which were rendered and he accepted for several months. He has lost each and every complaint so now he is going around and posting his lies on different sites.... 

Its so hard to prove you have done nothing wrong and provided a valuable service to someone who does not want to pay for it.  This client is also misstated facts as he was never advised to miss a payment. The fact is he could not make a payment because of his hardships and we incorporated this hardship in the negotiations to get him a modification...... This client is under some illusion that he obtained this modification by himself because he verified some information with his lender on one phone call.  How about all the documents we submitted? How about all the days we spent on the phone with the bank's negotiators? I guess none of that matters in Greed Land!



Please do not buy everything you hear from people like this former client.

Please do not buy the PR spots put on the Media by the lenders which blames the mortgage modification mess solely on lawyers or fraudulent homeowners. In truth, some lawyers and homeowners have been fraudulent but such fraud is a very small part of the problem. The problem is the banks and the Obama Administration. The President put in place a modification plan totally at the discretion of the lenders and fully bailed out the banks.

What did the banks do with the bailout monies?

The banks spent tons of money in each state in the last year to drive attorney's away from homeowner representation in loan modification matters under the banner that "you can do this yourself" and all lawyers are "rip-offs". As such, I stopped providing modification services 7 months ago. I stopped providing such services partly because of the banks and partly because of the clients like this person.

What has happened in the past year after the banks, politicians and the Media pushed out attorneys under the mantra of fraud?? The rate of foreclosures went through the roof and over a million Americans lost their home.
