Let me help validate your claims that Haffar has his hand in the rest Report scam. Heres an Email from Tony Aune, this person high pressure sells you to send them $895 for a rest report plus another $3500 up front for the quaranteed Loan Mod they will get you. Notice the email address from Tony, its from haffar and associates email account, then notice the 2nd email i got a few days later, its from Rest report email account. Lastly, after checking them on the BBB website, They have 3 dozen complaints, every consumer complaint board online, has multiple complaints about them taking the money and then turning their backs on you.

First email: Notice that they asked me to lie and add $2200 more a month to my income.

Hi Mike, can you please send me a new 6 month p&l with an additional 2,200 in income a month. Thanks.

Look at all the COMPLAINTS! Run from these folks while you still
have money in your pocket.

First of all Mr. Bedard, I am not Barbara whoever. You are seriously
paranoid. Second, I do believe you are running a first class scam
taking advantage of struggling homeowners. Maybe your intentions
were respectable in the beginning. However, your GREED has
definitely gotten into the way.

So I began to see what kind of scam you are truly running.
Ever hear of Haffar and Associates? Uh, didn't think I would find that did you?
I encourage everyone to google Haffar and associates in San Diego. Surely,
I didn't post all the complaints about them now did I? This is awful running
such a SCAM!  When you defraud people it is only a matter of time before you
are caught.

I did not expect that since even you and I have had it out with each other over the last couple years. In any event, I am glad you countered this BS with some truths and common sense. These reports are almost always made by anonymous people and are often, BS and done by "haters" or "competitors."

First let me say that the person who made this report is under an anonymous name. This same person was just banned from my forum on February 1, 2011 when it came to my attention that this person is actually someone I have already banned from LoanSafe.org several months ago.

Tyinmybest is actually Barbara Caldwell. Let me also add that Tryinmybest AKA Barbara Caldwell owns a forum (BeingMiddleClass.com) that "competes" with mine since she is also part of a mortgage and foreclosure forum. Hence, she, Ms. Caldwell has an agenda to make my name and website look bad in order to benefit her and her website. Let me also add that they were banned from the Google Adsense advertising program for fraudulently clicking on their own ads. Thus, they are truly the frauds here.........

It is has simple as that.

And NO, I am NOT recently released from prison, Yes, I am felon and have done my time, but it has actually been 6 years from my release from prison and almost 8 years from the above mentioned crime. I have not had one ticket or an arrest since 2004. I am not proud to say that, but I  feel that is an accomplishment for myself.

I am not a scammer or a fraud.

I am ex-alcoholic and drug addict who made mistakes and HAS PAID HIS DEBT to society. I spent over a year in a special drug rehibiltaion center style prison and then another 1 year when released.

The REST Report and ads on my website are there to fund my website that has helped over 9 million Americans with their mortgage and has saved thousands of homes over the years for FREE. This does not happen from natural osmosis or magic. It takes man hours, work and over 3 years of dedication to do this. It cannot happen without money paying the bills. That is why LoanSafe.org has ads and will continue to do so.

Let me also add that I am NOT in business with anyone but my wife who is my business and life partner. Martin Andelman has nothing to do with me or LoanSafe and never has. He is actually a competing blogger who blogs about the same mortgage crap I do on a different blog called Ml-implode.com. In addition, I do not know this Brian Columbona and have never met or did business with him. So, I cannot comment there.

What amazes me is that mature ladies like Barbra Caldwell who I have helped unselfishly go out of their way to act immature and childish by tryintheirbest to tarnish the good work I have done for their own selfish benefit.

That is what and who is wrong in America. Not me or this helpful mortgage report.

I was very disappointed to see your anonymous and ambiguous attack. I've certainly heard of people being unfairly maligned on the Ripoff Report site, but until now have not experienced it personally.

On what basis do you call me a "shyster extraordinaire"? Do you realize that you are talking about someone who has dedicated almost all of his time to writing 410 in-depth articles to help homeowners better understand the tragedy that is the foreclosure crisis... and even though my site has reached millions, I have refused to allow advertising on it, and have never received a nickel for referring anyone anywhere?

Are you aware that I, as a homeowner advocate, I was asked to speak at the judicial conference for the 9th Circuit judges this past year, and at the American Bar Association's conference on consumer financial services? Are you aware that I publish both my personal phone number and my email online so that homeowners are free to call and talk to me about anything, and that I have thousands of emails from people thanking me for helping them get through this difficult time.

Are you aware that I've never been in the mortgage business or real estate business and have never done a loan modification in my life, nor have I been paid a penny related to any of these things?

With all of the scams that are out there today, why would you say something like that about me... something entirely unfounded and without basis or merit. You don't seem to realize that I don't care if anyone reads me, and if so many people didn't I'd have gone back to work a long time ago. My site doesn't sell anything, it costs me to keep it going... so why would you taint what I write with your anonymous unsubstantiated blather.

It truly saddened me to see what you said... do you have anything specific to say about me? Anything actual experience with me? Do you know anything about me at all? Obviously you do not.

Lastly, I'm quite sure that Moe Bedard can stick up for himself, but I have to tell you that to say what you said about him was very inappropriate and hurtful, I'm sure. Years ago Moe did get in trouble... for selling pot... so what? That makes him a "con" in your mind? Selling pot? Pot was almost made legal in California in the last election and likely will soon. Moe wasn't selling heroin or anything like that... it was pot for God's sake... grow up.

Moe paid his debt to society, as they say, and he now has a beautiful family and a young child. How dare you come to a place like the Ripoff Report and say what you did. Would you be happy with yourself if his son were to read it one day?

Moe has provided Loan Safe in an effort to help people know more and not get scammed, and he's built a very successful site with a huge following. He was one of the first people out there defending homeowners and attacking the bankers. He and I have not always agreed on everything, and I've only met him once, but he doesn't deserve your cruel words.

As to the REST Report, you obviously know nothing about it, and have no experience with it, or you wouldn't say what you said. I've seen thousands of homeowners try to get their loans modified and the REST Report is the ONLY thing I've ever seen make a meaningful and positive difference.

I've written about it on my site on numerous occasions and spent 8 months working with it before I decided to promote it on my site. I've disclosed absolutely everything about my involvement with it... maybe you should read something and perhaps learn something before you attack it.

As to whatever you're talking about regarding Brian Colombana and NPV Report, I can't comment as I have no idea what you're referring to. To my knowledge, Brian is back in the real estate business, after being suspended by the CA State Bar for marketing out-of-state and the like. Prior to that, however, I'm told he successfully modified roughly 2,000 loans on behalf of homeowners.

Frankly, I don't believe you're even a homeowner, you sound much more like a disgruntled mortgage broker, who is biter because you can't make the big money you used to make.

But, if I'm somehow wrong about what I've said, I'm happy to talk to you about it, or discuss it here on the Ripoff Report, if you'd prefer.
