This company has a long standing policy of bait-and-switch tactics with customers. There is no promise they will not break and no member they will not hammer in order to maintain and expand their dominance of the currently 8 bllion dollar karaoke market. Much of their original catalog included songs to which reportedly they had no clear license and they were forced during litigation talks to suspend their use. One paying member was permanently banned from the site for simply mentioning that such litigation was ongoing.
The site has installed a number of untrained volunteers to police their bulletin/discussion boards for inappropriate content. Lewd and licentious conversations are allowed wide berth, but criticism of the policies or behavior of the leader are disallowed. Criticism of administrators is censored, as are political or religious ideas that the volunteers find distasteful or not mainstream. People of more extreme views such as atheism or political conservatism are routinely allowed to stand as objects of ridicule and mockery.
There currently exist two popular sites to which outspoken critics of Trevor McGuire, Singsnap and it's officers congregate to discuss their mistreatment. Singsnapsucks.com and Singsnapsucks2.com have become havens for some, yet current members of singsnap have been informed that if they are discovered openly posting critical observations on any site that their membership privileges will be permanently suspended. McGuire is serious about stamping out objective analysis of him and his "community" wherever it rears it's ugly head. The mind control and intimidation exercised over the membership has been widely reported as has the fear that many members now have of Trevor, his administrator Annie, and staff in general.

it has got much better music on it than singsnap .
the lyrics on Karafun are without a doubt correct and Karafun.com does need 3 or 4 different versions of the same song because the lyrics are not correct that would be singsnap that needs that cause the lyrics on singsnap sometimes suck a*s
Karafun.com has songs from yesterday and today which are excellent quality music and the one thing that is FREAKING TOTALLY AWESOME about Karafun.com NO COLORS NEEDED FOR MEMBERS , you sing what ever song you want
you don't have to be blue gold or green to sing all the songs on Karafun and Karafun has the same amount of songs on it than singsnap has with e few exceptions QUEEN , ACDC, BILLY JOEL , JOHN LENNON , all of these artists singsnap cannot get because of their license in the UNITED STATES .
and Karafun.com's tracks you can sing them any where you like even on your phone if you want to you can sing them on youtube and on other sites where ever you want to sing your favorite songs karafun does not care , and you don't have to kiss anybody's a*s to do videos on youtube , when I was a singsnap member I had a youtube channel and i put some of my most favorite videos on youtube from singsnap that everybody loved me singing , and everybody was on the message board posting their youtube channels well i did mine also 2 days later I went on to youtube to do another video when I have discovered my channel was gone , I thought I must of did my password wrong or wrote the wrong name so I did it again , nope no channel it had disappeard from view so I wrote to youtube support to find out what has happened to my youtube channel , and i got this told to me , is with a great heavy heart that we have to inform you that a member of the singsnap staff came and had one of our admins let them into your account and they had removed all your videos on your channel then that very same staff member had the admin disolve your channel , we are so very sorry but if you like you can make a new one but please don't use any song tracks from singsnap because I don't think my admins could bare having to do that again , naturally I was very angry at what I was told so I went on singsnap and tried to get into the message board but to my surprise I was banned from the message board , so I wrote to singsnap support to see why that terrible thing had been done to me on youtube and why was I banned from the board , a staff member wrote to me and said because singsnap does not allow it's members to use their song tracks for making videos on youtube it's not apart of singsnap so youtube is forbidden by singsnap members to put videos on , so I got over it , went on to sign up with another karaoke site the karaoke channel online.com using their tracks for making videos on youtube , and also I have found some songs on youtube also making a lot of friends on youtube along the way and do you know what I found while I had to pay to use another site to do videos on youtube , which grieved me greatly i found hundred upon thosands of videos on youtube of singsnap members , so i had my room-mate who turned out to be my all time favorite friend and live in boyfriend to do some checking for me while he was still on singsnap that is he got banned also but he found out all of the videos on singsnap the members were all favorites of every single person on singsnap that worked for singsnap , staff , admin even trevor's favorites was the members who were on youtube doing singsnap videos which I got told and the reason for my message board banning that it was forbidden to do , so I became a rebel did what I wanted where I wanted , basically tried to keep my nose clean till one day I came upon a beautiful singer sat there listening to this beautiful voice all through the whole song and wrote and said you have a beautiful voice it's a shame you don't have any listeners , well I took her address of her song and was gonna put it on the message board (i had to beg and plead to get back on ) and there on a post I found the same address so i though oh good somebody else is found her video and is promoting it ,
it was getting promoted all right by a female member who was claiming that the girl i though had a beautiful voice could not sing , avoid this video at all costs , and I wrote on the post how can you claim this girl cannot sing when she infact has a beautiful voice , the girl wrote that's my business and if you want to keep your account on here leave it alone , so i took my address of that beautiful singer and i put it on facebook and everybody that was friends of mine on facebook loved her voice i said well a girl in the message board has got her pegged as a horrible singer and my singsnap friends on facebook said the d**n girl must be tone deaf , and thus i went on a spree of finding beautiful singers and letting facebook listen to them when nobody else in singsnap would because people put them down as awful singers because they do not sing the song like the original artist and that is not only wrong that's so friggin immature it's pityful to think that grown women and men act like that , to say that a person who has a beautiful voice cannot sing because they are not singing the song like the original singer .
what a crock of sh* some members pull and why do they get away with such nonsense because they are the favorite members of staff , and admin and the owner that's why .
they would get away with murder if they could .
so you see that is another reason why Karafun.com and the Karaoke channel online.com are so much better than singsnap , no a*s kissers on any of those two sites f**king up the works and the good name .
can't say that about singsnap cause the staff and admins and owners asses are kissed so much they probably have dents where the lips touched .

Staff & Owner Have/Had Songs On Youtube

When Novella became staff she had a few songs on Youtube and her profile page said so.
Annie had songs on Youtube and she left comments for her best bud Novella on her songs as well while she was staff.
Trevor and Shanda took a former members video and posted it on Youtube in a harassing way. Trevor even left a comment designated for her that only the former member would understand.
That's why he's being sued now.
When Snap members on the message boards pointed out to Annie and Novella that THEY both had Snap videos on Youtube, they skirted around the comments.
Most members were ignored for months about this.
FINALLY, both Annie and Novella removed their videos.
Singsnap has an AWFUL habit of breaking their own TOS and Code Of Conduct.
Hang your heads in shame.

and try to bully me cause I am friends with and a member of the group manthissitesucks.com and they can't get to my friends on there so they try to go after me thinking I am the weak link , i've been getting threatening emails saying I am a crazy a** b**ch and now I just found out somebody tried to intimidate me by emailing my 24 year old nephew on facebook to which he replied to them that if they contact him or anybody else in his family again about his aunt marty he would contact facebook owner and manager or the admins and tell them what is going on and all I want is to be left alone just to be with my friends on facebook and another site and forget about the horror I have endured at singsnap staff's and admins hands and even though they finally got it taken off somebody on the message board was telling my friends on singsnap that I am no longer a part of singsnap cause I am in jail and 2 of my male friends got told I was dead and they both are very dear to me and that was just heartbreaking to see your best buddy make a youtube video about you being dead which he clearly took off because yeah I'm clearly not dead .
and I tried to make a vlog on youtube to show people I am not dead nor I am in jail and that somebody on singsnap viciously lied about it to hurt my friends they admins of youtube came and took it off on the say so of singsnap staff but other than that they said we are only taking off the video that says about how you tried to say she's either in jail or dead other than that everything else including her channel stays , and I have a friend on there who's an admin he wrote and said to me that we had to take it off sorry and that he had to bit his lip to keep from telling them off big time .
so you see singsnap staff and admins and their followers (favorite members) can say what they want I was on singsnap when it first began through invite and i got news for singsnap faithful the first members who came on when I did the guy that invited me don't even wanna come back to singsnap any more cause he says it sucks not even my friend Michael aka Cuchelo1 wants to come back he also says that singsnap has become a haven for favoritism and the favoritisms get to do what they want when they want and to who ever they want , not saying the person's name but besides me he had 3 other good friends on singsnap and all 3 of them suffered abuse from staff members and admins and their favorites .
and I will probably get nasty email from favorite members of singsnap for writing this but I'm sick to death of people coming on all forums that manthissitesucks.com members are on and pretending and acting like they are the virgin mary's and they are the followers of the deciples , singsnap is a karaoke site nothing more it's not a church but the favorite members of singsnap think it is and that trevor is god and that the staff is the deciples , and they got some people thinking that manthissitesucks.com members are evil demons spawned from hell , well if that is so I'd rather be a Demon from hell that to kiss the behind of the staff and admins of singsnap so I can pretend to be a goody two shoes again like some of them are pretending to be .
singsnap staff and admins pick their favorites , their friends and favorites win all the contests and challanges , and let them go on other members song videos and tell them they suck and that they are ugly , when I challanged one of them I got banned from the board , when I wrote about how they are doing favoritism on my page I got suspended if that's what they meant by I broke the code of conduct then I guess they need to get real cause nobody deserves to be treated like some of the members are treated pat 3 weeks I've had singsnap members gold , and blue come to me on facebook asking
what new site am I on and how much and I've told them cause the site I am on now lets you put videos on youtube , and has songs on it that singsnap cannot get any more cause they got it taken away by lic and also singsnap cannot get songs by artists like Queen and Billy Joel and others like that and my new site has every one of them and for some reason I keep getting hacked into on my youtube channel and songs keep getting taken away so the youtube admins are watching and waiting for somebody to slip up now , singsnap staff and admins say manthissitesucks.com is a haven for abuse they should take a good look in the mirror cause that site is only dishing out what has been done to them in the first place .
