Several Years ago I applied for a job at NCSplus on the site career builder. After talking to Michael Dignam I looked further into his claims about the company. I left a solid paying job of around $80/k because M.D. said that he was impressed with my sales background and that the employee who made the least amount with the company, was a woman who barely made $75/k a year. ( I learned later most regional managers fail!)I was assured that this was a solid job that needed my managerial skills and that the NCSplus product yielded the best results in the collection industry and that the products is so solid it practically sold itself. Furthermore, with the trillions of outstanding debt that this is the best career for anyone to get into.

Moreover, this is a career position and not a risk because your job is to manage, just work hard and you will be fine.  Pay the $7500 and get it back in 2 weeks after the training in Las Vegas.

I talked to 2 other people and was sold. I paid $7500 for the registration of my territory *************(exact..After review and acceptance, please complete the Regional Manager Agreement, the employment application and the reimbursement agreement and include a check or credit card for the reimbursable (per schedule attahced) $7,500. enrollment/training and bonding fee and send next day overnight FED Ex Ex is shipped, email me at mdignam@ncsplus.com and corporate at crehkow@ncsplus.com with the tracking number and your territory will be assigned to you which surrounds where you live and which will consist of approx. a 3 million population.

Because we are not a multi level company, only you will be authorized to hire for our company in your territory buy you and your sales force can sell anywhere in the country.  As per the written agreement enclosed, all reps hired in your territory which will be defined by counties and zip codes, only you will be receive overrides on.)********************************

I flew out to Las Vegas where I met about 14 other people who paid $7500 also. (Not one of the 14 persons are with the company now! In fact after that disclosure many never started claiming it was a scam)

Las Vegas was where I first met M.D.

It was then that I started to realize that this may be a multi-level marketing scheme and that my $7500 was gone.

We were told that our jobs as a regional manager was to Hire as many people as you can. It doesn't matter what kind of backgrounds they have, you make a commissions for hiring them and thats your job, but what drove this point home was the phrase, "and if your Reps do make a sell that when he quits its yours." In essence, we were told if you want to make money hire, hire, hire; and if someone makes a sell even better because when they quit, if there is a renewal on that sale it belongs to you, and that is just what happens at NCSplus.

Before coming aboard I was told that Reps stay with the company long term and that this is not a company where reps are just hired and make no money, also, I was told I was set apart because of my resume, "you have what it takes to manage, we could use you."

I tried my bes to impress becasue they are picky on who gets to be a reional manager..................NOT SO! Just pay $7500

Outside sales reps don't often make sales

so if you want to succeed sign people up; hire, hire, hire.

There is a licencing and bonding fee (which is really a commission for the regional manager) for the sales associate who works for the regional manager.

It started at $200 and is now at $500 could be more, and just like Michael Dignam was impressed with my resume I was told to tell potential sales reps under me that I was impressed with their resume and when can they start. I never saw their resume! but thats the hook line and sinker; as did it happen to me!

Soon I learned that just about everyone in this company fails. The CEO of the company said that 1 out of 10 make a sale, and that 1 out of 20 stay with the company, other Regional managers told me that 1 out of 30 make a sale, and that after a while everyone they hired becomes part time and then fades away.

In the beginning I was told the only person who didn't do well with the company was a woman who made $75/k

and just as bad business ethics, people will say whatever they need to say to get the sell, thats what happened to me.

I believe this company is truly multilevel marketing so Americans beware

If your good at hiring people but not making sales you can succeed (but see the definition below). The only people being hurt are honest working Americans. Bottom line. This company isn't about making sales! its about signing people up...

Definition:

Multilevel Marketing, or MLM, is a system for selling goods or services through a network of distributors.

The typical Multilevel Marketing program works through recruitment. You are invited to become a distributor, sometimes through another distributor of the Multilevel Marketing company's products and sometimes through a generally advertised meeting.

POSTED: Wednesday, October 05, 2011

Lets face it nobody saw it coming but the red flags were there

Whenever you are the product you know its a scam and when the company makes more money from recruiting people than from actually selling the product,

once again Scam.....................

similar experience...Dignam not trustworthy

AUTHOR: Jim Regan - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 31, 2011

I have also dealt with Michael Dignam in a matter involving NCSPlus' pay-up-front for the opportunity to earn money routine.  I gave him irrefutable facts that they took my money in exchange for absolutely nothing in return (no Vegas, no training, no Sales Kit, no bonding...nothing).  He spoke with such conviction that he's either willfully blind to what his company is doing or he's not.  It's obvious to me that he's very much a party to it.  NCSPlus will continue to play their sucker game until they're stopped.  I think there are people at NCSPlus that have done well, but at least some of their people are preying on people looking for work and NCSPlus' act that they don't know about it is unconvincing.

NCSPlus Inc. National Credit Systems False Advertising/Not really a company

AUTHOR: Michael - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 20, 2011

This person is responding to his remembered experience from "several years ago".  His memory is wrong.

As the National Vice President of NCSPlus I hear many war stories about managers who attempt to run a territory and fail.  I also hear and enjoy stories of those who succeed.  This person was never told we had only one person who did not make it and they made $75K a year.

The truth is I tell everyone the same facts, we are like the real estate business and the insurance business which hires ten to keep one.  This is what I tell new managers that they can expect from the ad responses for reps that we pay for them and for themselves if they do not work the systems we recommend aggressively.

Sales work is not a gift it is an opportunity. We have managers who have made 100K on one sale, can other companies actually say that truthfully?

We have over 35,000 clients including major hospitals, law firms, and even entire State Municipality Associations who recommend us to ALL the cities in their state after comparing us to the other three companies who work on a national basis as we do.  We collect on Millions of accounts each year and have millions who have reason to hate us, but yet we have only had 25 BBB complaints in 39 months and all are resolved or satisfied giving us a B rating at the BBB (quite remarkable since the BBB does not care why you receive complaints or the number of clients you have)

We will never make all the people happy all the time, but we are a proven solution for both our clients and our independent contractors.  We regret that some are expecting more from us than they do of themselves.

#1 REBUTTAL Individual responds

False Statements about NCSPlus, Inc.

AUTHOR: Michael - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, February 21, 2011

The person filing this report received for his reimbursalbe $7,500. bonding and enrollment fee Airfare to Las Vegas, four days of intensive training on our industry which is required in order that we satisfy the Federal Regulations which govern our industry, hotel accommodations, meals and support materials including materials for all the representatives he would hire if he chose to work after the training.

Unfortunately, even though we pay for the advertising for new managers and the locations for them to hire and train their new reps in, and give them $250. for each new hire plus a $150. meal and hotel allowance for them in addition, we still have some managers who would prefer to blame us than to do work themself.

This is what every manager candidate is told about the opportunity to work for NCSPlus and on this link we have included actual recent checks for $50K, 21K, and 27K which our working managers produced:

http://ncsplus.com/files/Top_Income_Details.swf

I have never told any new manager candidate that our worst person makes 75K per month, rather I always say that we have a show me not tell me business.  We did not compete with the other three Nationwide collection agencies for seven statewide Medical and Municipal contracts and win the RFP's because we are a multilevel company, we did so because our over 35,000 client base of fixed fee collection services users realize our model is superior to the abusive and expensive percentage systems which we are competing against.

Like real estate and insurance our model hires all who wish to give it a try and like real estate and insurance we keep one in ten or one in twenty (he was told this) depending on how well the applicant applies our proven technologies which have been proven successful by our company for over 25 years.

Note 1:  Unlike Real Estate and Insurance, in addition to their normal overrides and commissions, we reimburse managers and reps for 100% of their bonding and enrollment fees.

Note 2:  My largest class in Las Vegas was 8 not 14 and I could refute more of this person's falacious comments but our happy managers, several of which he talked to, and our 35,000 plus clients speak for themselves.
