The OP has a course of action open to him/her:  First, you ned to know what type of counselor she is, then report her to the appropriate state lincensing board. All the counseling professions have ethical guidelines that this person has crossed. But if you don't report her, the board can't take action.

What do you mean?  Does it mater "What" type of counselor?  With 3 DWI's you should not be considered as a professional of any sorts.  It would seem fit with 3 DWI's that person would be the one needing therapy. Linda Duggan has zero credibility as a counselor of any kind.  Her license should be removed immediately if the state upholds the rule and regulation guidelines.  If the state does not remove her license in February of 2010 I will be knocking on their door.

Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Guidance??? please be more specific

There are all types of "counselors" out there but only those who are licensed by the appropriate agency can be called a Social Worker, Therapist etc etc

In the past I have worked with Linda Duggan and have seen for myself her underhanded dealings and how the truth seems to get thrown away for political maneuvering and money and what is best for Linda based on who is paying her to get their way. This is a real bad thing for families. I always wondered how in the world this person was allowed to be a counselor in the state of Texas. It actually cheapened the position of counselor in my mind. I agree with other posters that Linda has ripped apart families and I witnessed this for myself working with her in the past. In my opinion, Linda Duggan has no credibility and should not be a counselor for sure as someone else also said.
