Never buy from SonyStyle.com they are NOT registered with the Better Business Bureau. SonyStyle.com performed an order cancellation for me. I hanged up the phone. After, 3 minutes, phone Sonystyle.com sent me an e-mail indicating the item was shipped. The e-mail contain a FedEx form which showed that Sonystyle.com has not even informed FedEx that a package was to be picked up. I ask for an immediate refund and they deny the refund. So I then waited for the package to be delivered. The package never came, instead FedEx tracking indicated that I refused the package. This was not true so I called FedEx and they said the package was returned to the shipper by shipper request. I called again to SonyStyle.com and ask for my refund.  They denied it. I ask why? They said that I must wait 10-14 business days. I told them that would be true if I took possesion of the package. I then said: "Since your company requested the package to be sent back to shipper, you are responsible for the package and there is no need to hold on to my money". It's been Aug 2,2010 when the order was placed and I still do not have my money.

Received Partial REFUND

AUTHOR: Rob - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, September 20, 2010

Today Sept. 20, 2010, SonyStyle.com posted to my account my Refund minus $10.00. I feel that I should never have been charge $10.00 because I cancelled the order and I never recieved a package even though they claim it was shipped. I am no longer going to persue this Company. I want to express my un-happiness with dealing with this online company. And I believe that it's better to buy from online companys that are accreditted with the B.B.B. I have never had a problem with dealings with B.B.B. accreditted company's. If a problem does pop up it's resolve in a very quick manner. I had to wait a total of 18 days for my refund from SonyStyle.com. Why should anyone wait more than 1 day for a refund? When a person walks into a retail store and get a refund it is posted on their account on that very day, and it shows up on their statement within two days. Many people that buy online are the eldery, retired, and disabled americans. We should not be treated any different from a consumer getting a refund directly from a retail store! It's outrageous that companys take advantage of the weak, and sick.

16 DAYS & STILL NO REFUND

AUTHOR: Rob - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, September 18, 2010

I called Sonystyle.com on 9/17/10 and ask about my refund. They informed me that my credit card has been given the refund. I checked my credit card account and found no refund posted. I then called my credit card company and ask if there were any pending credits (refunds) from SonyStyle.com. They said there are none. They then ask me to file a billing dispute form to get things going. So here is a summary of my situation I cancelled a purchaed with SonyStyle.com, they malliciously shipped the package knowing that it was cancelled, they then stopped the shipment and had Fedex return the package to the shipper at shipper request. At that point the package is no longer my responsiblity and I should have recieved an immediate refund. I cancel the purchase on 9/2/10 and it is now 9/17/10, and I have still NOT recieve a REFUND! I recommend to everyone: "BUYER BEWARE, this company is NOT registered and accredited with the B.B.B." It has been 16 days and still counting ( no product was purchased and no refund was obtained). I feel like I have been SCAM.
