I have never responded to postings over the internet and I am not attempting to do this for the first time because I just recently earned my MBA from APUS.I am a product of online schools. I had a really good experience with APUS and my advisor (She is the best). I received my BSBA from UOP and began my MBA program from another online school before switching to APUS.I think the majority of students from a plethora of schools both online and brick and mortar run into issues with FA and other admin functions during their studies.
Before I began with APUS I conducted a lot of research and expected to run into some issues along the way.As expected, there were some minor issues, but nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not what I experienced at the other schools I attended.First of all, I owe a lot of my success attending APUS to my advisor. She was there for me and quite often did a better job of getting back with emails or calls than I was. When I called into the school, my issues were handled immediately. To touch basis on my issues a lot of these issues were self inflicted by me.When root cause was identified it was usually that I missed a step in a process.
I also received a lot of reminder emails (More than I wanted to see) from the school which helped me stay on track.By far, the two years at APUS was a great experience and most of what I learned I apply at my work and it shows. The material is relevant in todays work environment.
I am sorry you did not have the best experience but I urge you before advising openly for others to stay away for APUS is try to understand sometimes things happen, and it is amplified when it happens to you, but this one experience is not an accurate representation of the school.
