Resorts Nationwide is the new name for Resorts International....The changed there name because of so many complaints and their merchant account dropping them because so many timeshare owner were scammed in to paying an upfront fee....The fee used to be 1370 to rent and sell you timeshare when it was resorts international...now under the new name Resorts nationwide they changed the fee to 1570. The sales pitch they use is referred to as the Reed Exhibition Pitch...They call timeshare owners and and ask if they are interested in sell or renting the timeshare...Then the say that they will rent or sell it to corporations that are coming in to Orlando for there annual conventions...and that because reed exhibition signed a contract with the convention center agreeing to bring back 43 conventions for the next 25 years that it will get down within 180 days...Then they say that you have to sign up for the renters program that is 1570 for a lifetime of rentals and a one time resale...

Most people that sign up are over 65 and think they are being called directly from the resort, so they trust you and think its just standard to pay the one time registertation...They get away legally doing  because they send you a contract that states that the one time fee is for marketing and advertising... ALL THEY DO IS POST YOU LISTING ON THERE WEBSITE!!!..(www.resortsnationwideinc.com)..Once you sign the contract and the creditcard recipt you are locked in...They even ask you for the three digit code on the back of the card..its called a cvv..they use that on there terminal so they can run the card like as if you are present...then they send you the credit cart recipt in the mail so you can sign it...After you return the paper work you never again here from them again...The customer service if that what you would call it is just two women...Kelly Flowers and Eva Miranda..both fake names..they just makes sure you sign the contract...once you sign it your call get pushed to voicemail...The claim the call is secure and that they record it when you go through the verification after you agree to give them the credit card number..The verification is suppose to be recorded my law but they dont record anything...

I know all this because I worked for them for about 4 months until I found out what I was really doing...They promise they will get it sold and rented within 180 days but they really just post it on there website and unless you notify them by mail after 180 days the take the listing down from there site...not that it matter because it would not get rented or sold either way....The do not have any contracts with any convention center...they just pay a small fee each year to have there website advertised on orlandoinfo.com..so when they call you and tell you they have contract setup with the convetion center they refer you to orlando info.com and show you there websites link on that site...but belive me They have never had anyone actally rent or buy anthing...I heard this staight from the owners mouth...Two Brother Steven (Walter) and James Novillo...They used to own Resorts International but they moved from longwood to mount dora and changed the name to Resorts International...Do not pay them a dime they will scam you...there contract is not even certified by the state....Its suppose to have a ratio of unit marketed and unit sold..but they dont have that because its zero...and they dont record verifictation and they are suppose to by law...Im working hard to expose them and shut them down...amen..

RNI Is A Timeshare Scam!!

AUTHOR: Evonne - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 12, 2012

I was called by RNI about 2 weeks ago to rent/sell my timeshare. They explained they would rent it out by Christmas time but they would get the money immediately for 2 weeks at $1800/wk. I was asked to put $1870 on my credit card and if I paid the fees that day I would be insured of getting $3600 back before the payment was due on my credit card. The reason being is that the renters paid in advance for the two weeks for the Christmas holiday.

After my credit card statement came in and I hadn't received any money from RNI, I called their customer service and was told that it could be as long as 2-3 months before they would receive the rental money. This was not the inital agreement I made with them. I started to feel like something wasn't right and did some investigating online. That's when I came across this website.

Reading the owner's rebuttal to the ex-contractor made me realize this really is a scam and believe even more in what the ex-contractor stated. Nowhere in the owner's rebuttal does he mention how many timeshares his company actually rents or sells per month or even per year on average. Instead, all I can read is the numerous places the company ADVERTISES the rental or sale of timeshares. I did not pay $1870 for adverstising. I paid this so I could get my timeshare rented or sold. Knowing this, I will now be calling my credit card company in the morning to cancel this charge before the 60 days chargeback window elapses. It's really ashame people try to scam people in this way. What goes around comes around and no good will come to this company or to these owners for what they are doing to hardworking people.

False Accusations Made by Disgruntled Ex-Contractor

AUTHOR: RESORTS NATIONWIDE - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 22, 2011

Resorts Nationwide is an independent advertising company for vacation ownership.  The company was incorporated in 2004 and has always operated under the current name and owner.  There was no change in ownership. The company is located in Mount Dora, FL to be in a tourist area that would gain more exposure for our timeshare owners.

Resorts Nationwide has been a proud member of the Convention & Visitors Bureau for years and we participate in co-op marketing and advertising with them to gain exposure to companies and tourists that are coming to the area for conventions and business meetings.  We also have advertisements that go out to Travel Agents, Tour Groups and Convention Coordinators in the United States.

I ask that the disgruntled contractor who wrote the misleading and false statements provide proof of his allegations. This was written by (as he states) an ex-contractor who left disgruntled and caused an altercation with a supervisor at the office. He was terminated for making false and misleading accusations to potential clients and since we adhere to the guidelines we had to stop using his services.

Resorts Nationwide will advertise timeshares for rent/sale until it has been sold. Knowing where to start advertising for the sale or rent of your timeshare is our job. Resorts Nationwide does additional advertisements in magazines, newspapers, bill boards, internet, TV and many more locations to draw attention to the timeshares on our website. As in any industry, name branding is critical to the success of any organization.

Our Customer Service Department is open from 9:30 am through 5:00 pm eastern time to assist owners with any questions or changes.
