David Barnes, stole my book concept and gave the ideas to another author to write the book based on my roughdraft. He later pointed out in the contract Agreement that when I signed the contract, I signed my rights of the book over to Packt Publishing. This is downright thievery, because the sample contract they sent me is different that the one you sign to start receiving advances on your work.

David Barnes isn't interested in helping Technical Writers make an extra income. He's more interested in how much money he can get from your hardwork !

Not only did they STEAL my book concept but wrote me a bounced check which was supposed to be my first payment to create the book.

Don't publish your book with Packt ! They acquire 85 percent of all proceeds and you get less than the remaining percentage as your royalty after paying off all fee's, shipping, printing and other misc. costs.
